same, number-eight
After hearing so much about AC over the years, I borrowed the first one off a friend and was heavily disappointed.
But everyone does say the later versions are a massive improvement though, so who knows
number-eight
I was disappointed with the first one and only got the second one after a mate badgered me into borrowing his copy (I wont let him know but I am glad that I did give it another chance)
The second one seems to fix the annoyances of the first one and also gives you a better protaganist and a better variety of missions.
As for the other releases...I like Brotherhood as it adds the idea of expanding the assassins guildand was a little let down after playing Revelations as it seemed like there was nothing really outstanding but helped close the story of Ezio and set up the story for AC3.
Only played AC II and Brotherhood
But both were very good storyline could have been longer tho. My only real criticism
I just felt like the first one was too easy and didnt bother with the series, seriously tho
DAT TRAILER... Q from star trek aswell
The second was meant to be a big improvement from the first
1 is pretty but spends its time saying look at how pretty these medievil cities look from way up here, forgets about adding any decent gameplay and quickly gets very boring.
2 is much, much better. More things to do, a greater variety in main and side missions and just much more polished feel.
Brotherhood adds more locations and characters but isn't the same leap between 1 and 2 in terms of gameplay. Still a very good game though.
Not played Revelations yet, I'm normally about a year behind new releases.
I can understand if 1 has put you off the series but the improvement in the games beyond it make a series worth playing. Especially since 2, Brotherhood, and Revelations can all be picked up pretty cheaply now.
Wiretapper pretty much nailed it for how I felt about the first two games.
