I don't buy this crap where you fans get your holier than thou act because City and Chelsea got taken over by rich businessmen. If Roman ended up at Whitehart Lane and you won a few league titles you wouldn't be saying we don't deserve it or its not a big deal. So get over yourselves now.

I know what you mean. I think every club fan would love millions of pounds to be pumped into their club, and i'm not sure it would make us any less delighted to win trophies.

The only thing i will say is, it is a bit more satisfactory to do it the right way, bring players through where possible, and generally build a team through hard work & good coaching - not from buying ready made players in every TW.

All clubs buy as best as they can though, so this is not a dig at Chelsea, City or anyone else.

Not every fan it would worry me to death. One day a club will have big money invested and then the plug pulled I would far rather we stay as we are personally.

Look at what happened to the likes of Leeds and Pompey. I can state catogorically that I do not want some rich sugar daddy buying players left right and centre I am perfectly happy as we are.

I agree I would hate gold and sullivan but as far as I understand ENIC dont pump money in they insist the club is self sufficient and thats the way I like it
