We as fans need to adapt to the new style of play also, i for one, love it! i havnt enjoyed watching us this much since rafa,

-----

Barca play like Barca leave it to them, let's play like Liverpool......pass and move with some real forward momentum....

-------------------

we are trying, unfortunatley play is breaking down with our two most important players(in regards to coring goals)

We conceed posession every time joe cole gets the ball, and he is providing yesil no support, as a result yesil is also losing the ball.

we are trying, it just needs tweaking

@Insert, You enjoy watching us passing the ball around the defence. Plenty of sideways and backwards passing while Anfield shouts "Attack!" at ateam with absolutely no attacking penetration. Oh Dear...

Ben Smith is creaming himself over Swansea. I hope we turn it round primarily just to shut him up

@LastChance: This is the ONLY trophy we have a chance of retaining, ONLY chance we have of European football and we are the HOLDERS. BR should have told them to go and play out of their skins and get a confidence boost before the Geordies
--------------------------------------------------------------
The thing is mate - it is Rodgers and his medical team's responsibility to manage our squad as best as they can We have a thread bare squad as it is so unfortunately some times this season this is the type of starting Xi we're going to see.

I'm sure all managers would love to tell their teams to go out and play out of their skins and see it paying off each time
Sometimes it works - sometimes it doesn't

We were talking about our play in general since brendan came in,

Yes we are poor and have no penetration so far in this game, this game i am not enjoying, we need to tweak it a bit (i think the substitution of cole would solve most issues)

On the most part we do penetrate and create chances, its just not happening today, that doesnt mean this style, managers tenure, and year are a write off.

Bottom line is we haven't got any strikers.

Yesil is clearly not ready, he was bullied against West Brom and the same is happening tonight.

Not his fault, he is playing against experienced centre-halves, but with basically no centre-forward we are just going round in circles.

Cole has been dirt so we have no link man either.

Who's Stevie on for? Better be Cole

You know we have a thin squad, god some people are fickle.
-------------------

We've been poor. It's a makeshift team, but nonetheless it's been poor.

No point pretending that we haven't, or giving excuses. Let's hope they can up it in the second half.

nani for united....2-3

Look at the XI though. None of them, bar Allen, are going to be in the 11 at the weekend so surely they can up it a gear and give a bit more?

posted on 31/10/12

I didnt say we haven't been poor, but people are making this sound like its our strongest 11, its peeing me off

honestly...say what ya want about alex ferguson.....

but he has adopted a policy of fast pacey wing play and 3 or 4 top strikers to score goals.....

not this tippy tappy stuff that only barca can get away with

I'm all for the youth system being allowed to develop, but it's been depended on too much because enough money hasn't been made available to the new manager. A very sad state of affairs.

Actually if you read recent interviews he states that hes needed to adapt in recent times to a diamond midfield,

Things change, its inevitable, when this system works its great, we all knew it would take a couple of years to get the team assembled and fluent.
