You've misspelt my team pal.

It's Bolton Wanderers.

Nice is nice - Nice is free.

And you want Owen Coyle for Palace!!!

I see, you're a joker!!!! Brill, had me going then..

Boreton & Coyle!! Brilliant. Southern Humour has me everytime...!!

We'll give Berg a chance. As a player he's won more than DF & McCarthy combined and as a manager, ok so he's inexperienced but so was DF a year ago and as for McCarthy, relegated twice....say no more

Not sure a managers CV is based on their playing qualifications..

Not sure Jose or Sir Alex have won as much as Henning Berg as players....

See what I'm saying.....

Has it increased their chances of topping us?
======================================

We were above you with Steve Kean so....

My article Rover was just to ask what people thought.... I was interested to listen to Henning Bergs interview on Talkrubbish in May... He blasted the venkys for sacking Sam...

As an outsider looking in, it looks like the owners trying to get on side with ANYONE WITH A BLACKBURN connection...? Could be wrong.....

I expected a better CV for manager of Blackburn. Decent club, decent history, similar fans and a wish to get back up.... I though our appointment was low key, but yours is lower IMO. Not creating aggro, just surprised to be honest... I would have preferred Eric Black in a slim liar was WBA took a gamble on Steve Clarke.... !?

MT must admit both teams after 11 years of premiership football and relalgated we both have new managers so it would be interested to see who will be up there pushing for promotion...With new young managers..

posted on 31/10/12

Agreed..... Added twist with the boys from BB10 also changing managers!!!

Interesting times ahead....

McCarthy's known quantity with well proven ability to get teams promoted to the Prem, but a totally different remit at Ipswich; more a damage limitation mission.

Freedman & Berg are more like unknown quantites but with, I've grown to hate this word, potential!

Potential like Coyle or Big Sam...

only time will tell...

posted on 31/10/12

That's what I fear most.

Big Sam buying all the Coyle rejects from us and WHU going on to qualify for Europe with them.

posted on 31/10/12

If Big Sam has Knight playing like Bobby Moore ill throw myself off, then throw myself off a bridge!!

Or Pratley like Zinedine Zidane.

He has Joey O'Brien NOT injured!!

He can achieve anything...!?

posted on 31/10/12

That's true and backed up by the fact he got Vaz Te fit, although he's just done his hamstring.

posted on 31/10/12

I don't see many posts on here saying "why did we let Vaz Te go?" this season now he's scored 1 in 7 (just as I predicted). Anyone see Jussi's latest howler this weekend? I can only think of maybe Matt Taylor out of the current BWFC rejects at West Ham about whose departure I have any regret at all, and even then, we weren't to know Lee was going to get injured. I think they all left at the right time for us.

I don't think it's the personnel leaving that's the issue for me..

It's the clear ability that some managers have, to get players playing that interests me...

Sam would have us mathematically up by now..

posted on 31/10/12

Sam did have the ability to get the most out of players and to play exactly how he wanted them to.

He even made us all think Nicky Hunt was half decent for a while.

Pederson at LB fgs. And it worked.
