unconstructive article but i echo your sentiments about gallas being scapegoated when in fact he has been our best defender this season
only spurs eh!!!! you can write the kin script
i just hate the way someone will make a mistake i.e verts and its just oh well, but gallas makes same mistake and its because he is old! Does my head in
yeah....3 gaffes allseason....unfortunately....it was the one game they came in...
Think we should get rid of this AVB character, get Hughton in!
And this is a prime example that Lloris isn't exactly the unstoppable force between the sticks that will catapult us to the top. He still has a little way to go before he is our Number One. Which is what I've been saying so many times here, Brad is our number one and Lloris needs to be phased in slowly so when he does eventually become number one, he'll be more stable in goal.
look Lloris is a top keeper and hopefully will be our number 1 for years, but the pl is totally diffrent to other leagues and even keepers like schmeichel needed time to adapt. I saw some1 say the other day they get angry when ever they see brad now, its just stupidity
It might help if the defence could actually defend. They had nothing to do all night, and still managed to let Norwich score twice. Absolute pants defending.
Had to be dominating. Had to be a deflected OG. Had to miss a pen. Had to have a good 4 or 5 1st teamers unavailable.
Has to be when it's Spurs
fair point sandy, we really miss kaboul who is a beast at attacking the ball, also sandro is fantastic for us when defending set peices, no idea why verts was marking holt only 1 winner there. Verts has his strengths but he not a dominant cb.
Sandrothebeast <clap>
I hate seeing those anti Brad comments, especially when he's been our best keeper in years. It might be frustrating for some that Lloris is on the bench, but I'd rather that and for him to adjust properly in a totally different league, than be another Gomes! Lloris will be our number one soon, until then I'm very happy with big Brad as our main keeper.

The defence had nothing to do all night, but still conceeded two. There is something seriously wrong, and my theory is and always has been you need a settled defence.
yeah i agree mate, im all for constructive critisism but every goal we concede we get the same people saying over and over its brad fault when the goal is basically unstoppable from a keepers point of view
Sandy, im afraid it's the nature of the PL these days, play a different set of players for cup games due to the demands of the league. But yes I agree if our defence is not strong then it adds much more pressure onto our keeper. Which was my point when we lost to Chelsea.
some very good posts on this thread in my humble opinion.
nice to see a bit of reality coming through
not alot of people do reality on here, armchairs fair weather fans who overeact to everything, every club has them
i think most people mean well sandro's. we're probably all guilty to greater or lesser extents of seeing what we want to see
Redknapp lost his focus as a result of the interest from the F.A. Fair enough, who wouldn't? But what has AVB given that HR didn't (or couldn't)?
Currently, we are sitting pretty, and playing gash. At least under HR, we played pretty and had something to admire!
I think it's fair to say that AVB could have either continued HR's attractive football, or implemented his own attractive style yet, instead, we have this complete dross.
Is AVB really any better than HR? Unless there is some hidden talent, yet to be unveiled, then absolutely not.
Under HR we played very good football and finished fourth. Under AVB, we play tosh, and might finish fourth: no competition, surely?

Not sure what your argument here is, but you are completely missing the point on the whole managerial change situation
Furthermore, avb highlighted two players that he wanted for his style to work - William and moutinho. He got neither. So let's give him a break about the standard of football. I personally cannot notice much change for most of the game. It's only when we get overly cautious then it's different to last year.
There are several times that we couldn't even break sides down under redknapp! We haven't really had that problem this season
Chronic...
Whoooooo. Yeah! That was close to Redknapp-standard football, eh?
Regardless of AVB not having acquired his desired players, the man seems to be utterly clueless. Please, do give a contrary example, if there is one.
It seems to me, that currently, we are gash in terms of style, gash in terms if results (whooooo, we beat MUFC! Um, great, given the current predicament!), and gash in pretty much all other departments.
Harry Redknapp, what a poor choice of manager, eh?
Maybe not!
