Hazard: More David Silva than Ronaldo?

I don't think he's like either of them tbh.

He can't control games like Silva, he can't thread through balls like him either. Silva is more of a passer, Hazard is more of a dribbler/flair player.

I think it is true when people were saying he is a faster, more dynamic and talented version of Joe Cole at his prime. And Hazard is nowhere near his peak yet, we have only great things to come from him. The only other young player in world football I would take over him is Neymar.

That's my point Kam. Granted we haven't seen him really control games, but we've had Oscar, Mata and Mikel doing that job. But Hazard has been making some proper silva-esque passes this season, the one against Tottenham being his best. He's not dribbling near as much and focuses much more on passing and movement. He's joint top assister in the league with Mata I think

The Hazard and Joe Cole comparison is very funny If only Cole had Hazard's attitude

Hazard is sick! That pass to Ramires was top class, how the hell did he even know he was there? Same with that pass to Mata vs Spurs.

The only player that I see close to Hazard in terms of style of play is probably Thiago of Barca. They also look the same (a bit)

You got to admit he does look like a muuuuuuuuch better version of Joe Cole when he was younger.

Yep. Agree. He's what Joe Cole should have been!

That pass to Ramires. He knew automatically he was gna be running it. Class.

Same with the Mata pass against Spurs. Didnt even think about it.

His penalty yesterday was coolness personified.

He is only 21, to be honest it is way too soon to pigeon hole Hazard as a type of player, he has so much improvement and dvelopment to come and I for one think he will become his own player in his own right given time.

i have heard worrying reports though that he seems uninterested during training only pushing himself during matches. This is good for keeping him injury free but may hamper his development

Hmm..

How would it be good for keeping him injury free Cheg? Surely if he's pushing his body to the limit once a week out of nowhere, wouldnt that put a strain on his muscles more?

I hope its not true though..

I doubt it. He didnt get this good on natural talent alone.

It'd be gut wrenching to see either of Hazard Mata and Oscar leave Chelsea before they win a few titles.

I'm not really trying to pigeon hole Hazard it's just something i've noticed as the season has gone on. He's adapted his game and the initial comparisons made look quite a bit off the mark as for me he's not the Ronaldo-esque player he was billed up to be.

I reckon the media also thought they were getting another arrogant trouble-maker who they could get a lot of stories out of. But he's been the complete opposite

The transfer saga was a joke TBF.

Yeah one of his former coaches who said Hazard takes things easy in training and doesn't really work hard and push himself

Mr Chelsea I cant see it happening. It isnt as if we are stepping stone club. We can always challenge for cups and titles and we will always pay our players when they perform. Also the chemistry seems immense.

Loved seeing Ramires kiss the badge.

Hazard would probably be the most likely to leave out of the 3.

If I was to place a bet on who I think will get poached first, I'd say Oscar

Yeh Foam Hands. Hope youre right..

I just got a feeling about Hazard though.. Best way to keep players is to win trophies.

posted on 1/11/12

Yeah if we don't win trophies then Hazard will be off. He looks too ambitious and talented to stay through a long dry spell, and I won't blame him if he does.

Don Mata.. The options for Oscar apart from us are limited to be honest... Madrid and Barcelona I would say, maybe Bayern Munich?.. Just pray them two clubs buy other players and dont come for ours

posted on 1/11/12

He just reminds me of your typical Barca player and his best mate Neymar will be there

Hazard wants to come to United...

He told me...honest.

Oscar in his recent interview with the telegraph stated that he wanted to stay here for a long time and be a club legend.
