anderson is our best midfielder when fit, and he'd get in yours
Cleverley isn't better than Ramsey and he apparently is your next big thing. Diaby is alot better than Carrick when fit so yes again. No United central MF would get into ours
Cleverley is better than ramsey
When is Diaby ever fit? And based on this season, Clevs has been very good for us whereas Ramsey has done what?
Anderson oh yeah the guy you guys called better than Cesc once..... do me a favour.
When both fit Diaby > Anderson
Then Arteta > Anderson
and Wilshere > Anderson
so flat midfield or triangle Anderson 'your best midfielder when fit' as duncan claims wouldn't get in our team.
Diaby and Anderson may be a reasonable debate and if the latter was chosen then we will slot Santi into the mix and maintain the point that Anderson would NOT get into our MF

did you not see what he did to chelsea on wednesday?
he ripped them to pieces.
when fit, that is what he is capable of.

you can come on here and take the p 1 5 5 if you want mate and throw together all your little combinations, but the facts are, last season we spanked you, and this season we are ahead of you and will beat you again saturday.
i know which squad i would rather have
I'll actually admit Arsenal have the better midfield. I prefer Arteta to Carrick. A fit Wilshere is potentially incredible and a fit Diaby also shows similar promise. The same applies to Anderson though. Had Anderson not had the injury problems I think he could have been one of the best in the league already. His performances so far this season have been very, very good. So whilst our misfield options are closely matched and would all get into eachothers' squads, I think Arsenal are stronger there. And I actually think Ramsey has more ability than Cleverley, however, Cleverley has the better brain and knows when to release the ball. I don't know if Ramsey looks like understanding this.
The rest of our squad is vastly superior though. The Arsenal attack is their worst in their PL existence.
Kagawa
It's only this season that Arteta has been playing (inexplicably) as a holding midfielder and has been woeful. So comparing him to Carrick is wrong.
Arsenal don't really have a holding midfielder of note since song left.
The midfield debate for me based on the positions every plays is
Carrick vs Arteta (as holding midfielders) - Carrick.
Anderson vs Diaby (box to box) - Tie
Cleverley vs Wilshere - Wilshere
Cazorla vs Rooney - Cazorla (but Rooney for goals)
Rooney is better than carzola
Nah, they play the same sort of game. They tackle, intercept and distribute the ball effectively. I think Arteta is better. It's just my opinion so accept it and move on.

Okay Dad!
We'll see who the better holding midfielder is tomorrow
Rooney better than Cazorla? You sound like the English press here firstly I wouldn't compare the 2 because they do different jobs. Secondly one has a good first touch the other doesn't Rooney is a better goalscorer but we didn't buy Cazorla for that so there you go
Inventor
I'm only comparing them as i'm pretty sure Cazorla will be playing behind the main striker (Walcott?) tomorrow and Rooney will be playing behind RVP.
Arsenals worst attack?
Do you not remember last season when they had Park, Chamach and some injury-prone 0-season-wonder as their only options?
Will we? I'm going off what I've seen for some time. They both play in midfield and play the same sort of game, I just think Arteta is better.
@Kagawa,
I agree, if Arteta, Wilshere or Diaby were fit they would walk into our midfield.
Anderson and Carrick are our best options in the centre, Anderson could be awesome if he had an injury-free season, Wed night was a glimpse of what he offers, long may it continue.
Kagawa
Arteta has only played as a holding midfielder this season. And ask any Arsenal fan and they'll say he has been poor there.
Last season it was Song there (and Carrick vs Song is a different debate).
As a holding midfielder, Arteta doesn't do what Carrick does as well. They were discussing this on Soccer Saturday a couple of weeks back and Merson was saying that Arteta was wasted there as it's not his natural position. Many Arsenal supporters I speak to want him gone and Frimpong to play there instead.
Arteta is a very good player nut should be playing further up the pitch to get the best out of him.
Red Rob
What Arsenal fans do you speak to that want Frimpong to start ahead of Arteta???
Stop making stuff up to validate your point because in actual fact Arteta has been a revelation in that position...... quote by an Arsenal fan...... me.

I'm not inventing anything. Just because you're an Arsenal supporter doesn't mean your opinion means more to me than another Arsenal supporter! Hell son, I live in the same street as the Emirates and drink in Arsenal pubs and many people there think that Arteta is poor there. (Not a poor player but poor there).
Should I discard what Merson said about him on Soccer Saturday too?
Aaaaand Inventor.
I've seen you're done an article saying Theo shouldn't start tomorrow but surely if he was your lone striker your team would be way more dangerous, especially as we'll be on the front foot and he would be able to break quickly for you with a slow Rio quite easy to run past.
Why are you so against the possibility of that. Isn't Walcott as a striker what most fans want?
