Gerrards delivery has been terrible for years from corners.
Don't know why he's still taking them to be honest.
Somebody needs to tell him he's off that perticular duty.

If only Charlie Adam was still here...his corners were worth £10mill alone.

Sterling takes a good corner and it's not as if he's going to get on the end of one. He'd be a good choice. However he's good to have sitting outside the box also, for two reasons. First he's decent with the volley and secondly if the other team counter attack, he can catch them.

All Gerrard seemed to want to do yday is shoot from ridiculous angles. How has he been for you this season?

That was Gerrard's first good game in a while for us. He just isn't able to bomb around anymore. His passing range was excellent yesterday whereas in previous matches it was letting him down. It's unfortunate we don't have more players who can pull off the kind of passes he does as our midfield creativity is very low.

Give him a squad number then.

He's been poor Andy, he was better against Newcastle.
He's the only player that can play those 'Hollywood' passes so he is a must at the moment.

When we pick up the momentum him and Suarez are the two players who push the team that extra mile.

That is why we still need him.

he's got two assists for suarez in recent games from free kicks so i don't see a problem.

Last season we always had a deluge of them, but it seemed to me we rarely scored. We again seem to be getting a fair few this season, but again don't score?


I would take Stevie off them, bladdering the ball into the first man has become almost habitual for him. From what I've seen Sahin takes a good corner, when he's been given the chance. Get him on them.

The problem isn't just the corners themselves, it's the players we have who are good at attacking them. We don't have any.
