The whole Spurs first XI is still cheaper that what Chelsea got mugged off for Torres. That one always keeps me going.

Sagna.sorry, coming from a guy that supports a club that's replaced RVP with Giroud and Poopolski

Weare

No top player is going to join Spurs, when they see Lloris sitting on the bench from the day he signed, why would they want to come to have the same happen to them.

And both are sadly lacking

Mr Mourinho

Only a palstic club like yours would get robed of £50 million for Torres. Your owner is a complete and utter mug. Was he the one who paid £35 million for Schevchenko, and £28 million for Veron.

Do you think that AVB will try for the Liverpool managers job after both managers have been fired?

Why would AVB be fired. Spurs are joint 4th with Everton and WBA. Now go toddle off back to your board, and wonder why Man United are supposedly the richest club in the country, and yet have a debt of half a billion.

There was enough in the petty cash tin for that mate. At least our owner spends some money on the team!

Looked at board and it tells me Spurs are in place six and sinking fast...help throw a life line...AVB jump in ...please.

But Morinho, you should be winning many more trophies with all that money spent. It's a little hard to justify spending that much and only finish 6th in the league .

I think winning the champions league more than made up for finishing 6th in the league. Tough on you guys i know but most sides would be more than happy with that!

You can't really talk about that Doovde, you've spent about £400million in the last 20 years and won two mickey mouse cups and only finished in the top 4 once

Have we even made a profit the last few years?

Our revenue is only around the £125m mark, I believe our wage bill has soared since the CL season, and we have had to build the training ground, along with all the costs involved in the stadium project.

There isn't a bottomless pit of cash. We have a very good squad, albeit light in the striker department. That's the priority, though with AVB's comments pre-season don't expect one in January

Typical of the modern day fan the answer is always a cheque book

When the question focuses on finance, surely the answer must also?
