I'm sure someone who knows about statistics will prove me wrong but why do you need everyone (eligible) in a nation of 300 million to vote? The polls are very accurate and they use a sample size a tiny fraction of that.
Lemmy playing on top of White House would be awesome.
Suck on that Brian May, go back and play with your badgers.
(mickey)
i asked a question last night,do they have a "no confidence" or "none of the above" option?
there are more than 2 options though, if you dont like obama or romney vote for someone else
I guess as long as you don't have a situation where specific groups of people tend to vote less than others (e.g. 100% of seniors vote but only 20% of under 30s vote). But that don't say that when they tell everyone to vote do they? They just say go vote, even though it doesn't really matter.
blueboy,
dont be so quick to dispell Brian May,theres a great video of him on youtube playin overkill with Motorhead at Brixton academy.
plus he produced all the Bad News albums.

As far as I am aware they don't have those options.

The only way to even run for office is to have an absolute fortune or be backed by large corporations. So who ever they vote for, it will be someone out of touch with the majority of the country and/or someone with corporate interests.
a bit like in the UK then (Mickey)?
vote for gary johnson, he'd be the best president out of the lot of them
Not really. An independent would be hopeless as president.
Jello Biafra for president.
i actually mean this too.

Worse than the UK. A US presidential election costs $6 bn to run.
why would anyone want a green party president?
An independent would be no good in the White House as long as there is a partisan majority in Congress. They would block everything the President did. Look how much trouble Obama has had with a Republican majority in the House.
bright dave,
i saw that just before i went to bed,
i too was "too drunk to..........."

The ultimate irony is seeing a green party member dispensing political flyers through people's letterboxes.
