Anderson is bowling junk as he has all day, get him OFF.
Goodbye Singh His pathetic performance with the ball was even better than his effort with the bat, if that is possible? what is the point in having a "wall" if the rest of the team fall apart at the other end. Who was doubting the fact that England will not win this game? I don't think so. Thank you indiasox for putting the kiss of death on your own ageing, rapidly detiriorating team who are gonna get hammered in this series. Couldn't you see? This is englands destiny and the journey started a long time ago
Tremmers is fired up and these tiny little indians are going to get that chin music now. Please Tremmers, give me some pain to enjoy
India in ODI mode but that's Ok, for why would England want to force a follow-on and bat 4th on a more turning wicket.
True hope, this game is all about us, the indians are being tortured. 4 draws my ar se, this first one is going the same way as many others have in our recent history. 1:0
Looks like the penny has dropped for broady. I reckon he'll take a couple of 5'fers this series and over 20 wickets to help England win the series 3-0 (one will be rained out.)
Will the worlds best test match cricket team avoid the follow on? Don't make me laugh.
Ridiculous spin from the BCCI...
Zaheer Khan't bowl in the 2nd innings (in spite of words to the opposite)
England to hammer 300 in 60 overs today/tomorrow to tea gives us 130 overs to knock these little fellas over.
easy-peasy.
Dravid 100 Another excellent knock by that man.
Congratulations to Zaheer for coming out to bat on 1 leg and making that very brave score of 0 1 wicket to go. easy-peasy.
Majik, if they bowl out our entire team for 10 in the second innings, we will still win this test match
Great bowling from the boys. Nearly a 200 lead, glad to see anderson grab a couple of late wickets and broad obviously back on song.
Good luck to India's 2.5 man attack!
Well played Dravid
Anderson two wickets, the lucky man. One of course was a one legged cripple.
Good bye sharma, good bye India. Come to England illprepared and you will get your ar ses tanned Now our boys can bat under no pressure what so ever. The first partnership is on about 180 even before we lose a wicket hahaha
Good for us though Hopeforthebest that Andersen kept going, kept getting used, and picked up 2 tidy wickets in the end? Gotta to keep him interested and in form? What a great testmatch we are playing?
Support the players, hopeforthebest, and if necessary criticise after the game is finished.
Whatever the outcome, if Anderson needs "resting" (IMO not) for the 2nd test then, oh dear, we'll have to call on Bresnan, Finn, Shahzad, Dernbach or Onions to replace him.
Hardly the end of the world!
Anyways, another fantastic day of cricket from England. More of the same tomorrow...sure i'll see you around maksi.
Anderson came on only because Tremlett had a problem of some kind but I agree it's good for his confidence that he took wickets. Let's hope he bowls well in the second innings.
I rarely criticize our players but Anderson was so disappointing today and he is our lead bowler. After 21 overs for 86 runs, 52 of them were in boundaries. That's not the Jimmy Anderson we know.
Take care guys and see you on here tomorrow. Lets see how Strauss goes about winning this match from here on in. Personally I think we outclass India in every department and will do it with little trouble.
Majik, as you say, our team would not even be weakened, not one little bit, if we picked any of those bowlers and brought them in. I like the 3 that we are using and they are doing a superb job.
Have a great evening fellas
