It's a familiar saying in football that people 'vote with their feet'. For Leicester fans previously unconvinced by Forest's claims that we don't care, this only goes to confirm it.
The tickets were expensive, the view is terrible, and it was on tele.
Need I say more.
Even in the context of Sky coverage, the away attendance really was pathetic. Come on admit it. If the situation was reversed, we would have more than doubled that figure.
NFFCsporty - isn't it more a case of not caring about your own club than ours?
Can you only motivate yourselves to attend the big games then?
Loyal supporters?
Leicester have always had excellent away attendances and the home support is above average but in general ity's getting harder to justify paying high ticket prices when matches are on the box for many family supporters, easier for the young, free and single!
I think football has to look at itself because there are going to be real problems with attendances if pricing stays this high, Wigan v West Brom in the Prem attracted 17000, not live on the box even like ours was!
TrueBlue I agree with your general point, but Wigan have never had big crowds and, good team though they are this season, the Baggies aren't the biggest draw in the Prem.
1700 imo for a lunchtime kickoff that was on TV was pretty good........Why do you have loads of pale blue seats empty anyway?
As for that stupid crass manager of yours.... nuff said

as a forest fan i cant talk for everyone else but the reasons i didnt buy a ticket were i thought they were a little overpriced , the early kick off doesnt give me much time at home with the kids , and finally it was on sky so i can watch it at home . Thats my excuses . Not overly fussed by figures and such . It was a good game and a fair result and being at home i got to see the stonewall penalty we were given played over and over again and then pearsons reaction which was priceless

That is because we are your main rivals. I know you don't believe us but honestly we do not really care about Leicester and shows you that we are not fussed about going their. Whereas as we are your main rivals you will fill out your allocation quickly as we are your main game of the season!
I think the reason Leicester usually sell a high percentage or all of their away allocation for games is because the fans tend to base their decision around going to supporter City rather than who the opposition is.
I think Forest have a decent away following in general, and it must be really grating for these fans to know that their are fellow supporters who pick and choose matches based on the opposition as opposed to their love for their own club.

Thought I'd repeat some of that information just for clarity.... (bl00dy internet gremlins)
Oh ... for a minute I thought you were repeating it to correct the grammar.
Really is that so?
So why do you always seem to sell out your allocation to the City Ground but never anywhere near selling out your allocation anywhere else?
We will always have a high attendance wherever we go.
…last two Saturday away games, we sold out for both….?
“we do not really care about Leicester and shows you that we are not fussed about going their”

Come on, at least stick to an argument....
Look we've got a better overall away support than you so there really isn't any argument
TEG
Isn't it about time you red dogs went and had a c0 ck measuring contest with the derby fans about who cloughie loved more? Like two attention seeking little brats. (Only one is far more arrogant than the other)
Isn't this what the article created by one of yours is about????
And a Leicester fan talking about seeking attention
Go and play with Coventry
Clough lived in Derbyshire didn't he?
Says what he thought of Nottingham
Is that really the best you've got melon?
I love the who did he love more argument to be honest cos we can't lose it. If he loved Derby more then it makes it all the more sickening to them that he achieved what he did with us
To be fair he was the best manager England never had, nice to see the Fa is still as inept now as it was 30 years ago.
Where were you last weekend Teg? Was mighty quiet on the Forest board
Not that I have to justify myself to you melon but:
