Depends on what you mean by mediocrity, they're not exactly the harlem globetrotters but a medicore team wouldnt be able to beat barcelona by playing attacking football. Some of our players are not up to standard but theres many players in our squad with excellent quality. Yes weve had to watch players like denilson, diaby, and squillaci, but look at man utd with players like o'shea, gibson, bebe, obertan ect
Fabregas and nasri are still arsenal players so dont assume they are already gone, let alone asume we wont find adequate replacements (at least for nasri)
Things haven't gone wengers way, but it doesnt mean hes out of touch with reality, believe it or not he is in a better position to judge the team than us, and while hes not always right i still trust his judgement in the main
Its not like we have a team of 30 something year old no hopers, of course there is ambition

Careful now. No need to throw out the baby with the bathwater. Wenger does have obvious shortcomings, but until you can guarantee 70 odd million pounds pocket money per season for the new guy, we're stuck with him.
