Incidentally, let's not forget that many of us Leeds fans were clamouring to hand Aaron Cawley over to police after his cowardly assault on your 'keeper, and he is doing time now, albeit not enough. We did our bit, now it's your turn
Im deeply shocked, saddened, disgusted and angry about this, on behalf of all owls fans im so so sorry about this, it sounds like a disgusting, cowardly act. I really hope that those mindless thugs get all thats coming to them. I can appreaciate your anger towards us as this is a far more severe attack on someone out with his family and now probably most likely lose his life.
Also as an Owl, I know a fair few Leeds fans who are genuine, including my dad who has supported Leeds since he was 5 and he is 53 now. Im so shocked at the fact that owls fans could do something so low and cowardice. Im stunned and I pray that this poor lad pulls through and hope and pray that those animals spend the rest of their lives behind bars.
Again im so sorry!
Is this the incident?:

You have my support I hope they catch all three and throw the key away. We don't want these morons at any of our clubs.
Want to throw the f##kin key away when they catch em

this is off a Leeds forum. apparently this guy was sending Facebook threats to Wednesday fans on Facebook and decided meet some of the Wednesday fans and they decked him.
before u go mad robo, Im not saying this makes it ok. i agree with the rest of the comments here but this is on your own board mate.
hope u kid is ok and makes a full recovery and hope the 3 Wednesday idiots get what they deserve
It's off a Leeds forum, but if you read it properly, the poster says "Not my words, posted by Owler on Bladesmad." There's a few Wednesday on Twitter who have gone very defensive as well, though I'm sure they were ranting about Leeds Sc*m after the Cawley incident (while most of us were trying to make sure Cawley was swiftly arrested).
It's irrelevant anyway, the lad has been put into hospital by someone who should be made to answer for his actions, and I hope you would support that.
And in fact I can see you do support that. Fair play to you. I'm rather upset about this, as you might imagine - it goes way beyond the normal nonsense between consenting hooligans when a lad is attacked when on an evening out with family.
I can imagine that there are alot of wednesday fans who have gone defensive. That forum refers to the article that Mike posted earlier.
The only thing we know for certain is that a man was injured after an altercation. It doesnt mention anything at all about it been a football related story or him been attacked by wednesday fans etc.
There's no evidence, so I think its a little early to go pointing the finger at us just yet.
If it does turn out to be exactly as you said I stand by what I said earlier and echo the thoughts of my fellow owls on here, I seriously mean that. Im not been insensitive. Know matter what the reason for this its mindless morons who need arresting and punishing.
Don't really see the comparison, unless there was 6,000 SWFC fans in the bar and the perps hid amongst them. And if he was provoking on social media, he should take a look at himself too.
Tragic, yes. Our responsibility to find who did it? No.
Hope the guy pulls through and the guilty get caught, but personally I wont be actively trying to find out who did it.
