Which iPad?

Just for the price if anything else, the Nexus 7 is well worth it.

I admit when it comes to tablet apps, Apple are the kings. But the price difference is too much for it to be worthwhile.

Not having flash is a big draw back on iPad and is putting me off. Think I'm getting a nexus 7 or Asus transformer instead

To a large extent Flash is kinda getting phased out for HTML5.

Mrs has an ipad2 and it is great. Browsing experience, battery life all pretty good.

My mate has an iPad1 but bought an Nexus7 recently and now only really uses the Nexus.

You're better off with a Samsung than a Nexus 7 (Asus made) if you want to stay clear of iPads.

But if it's the price you're concerned of then ignore what I just said.

Thanks, yea.. the price puts me off and also things like getting a memory card for extra memory interests me as im likely to use it for films etc.

Can you get things like gameboy emulators for the nexus too? (so i can go back to my school days!)

If its android you can get NES, SNES, GBA, PS1 emulators.

Also re the emus - they work really well, and i would advise to root the phone and get an app called sixaxis, it allows you to use a PS3 controller, as i love the emus just hate touch controls.

Re Ipad Vs Nexus. Nexus wins on price, Ipad on pretty much everything else, and i am am Apple hater.
