Wendies better 1st and Weeds better 2nd- 82min blatent pen in a bad tempered affair.

Leeds need to strengthen side- Prutton played well 1st half and faded badly.Gradel/Nunez and Mendy all did well as did Johnson for Wendies.

Well summed up Kelly's Heroes. Didn't Leeds look ordinary? Apart from Gradel. But we faded badly in 2nd half. I'm happy with our back 7 but the front 4, apart from JJ were abysmal. The Irishman? Sign him up? Why? What did he do? He looked like a schoolboy in a mans game. And Madine looked totally disinterested. I always thought he was limited but a tryer - now he's stopped trying! And as for Sedgewick. at least he tries but oh dear he's no idea how to do anything remotely threatening like get a cross in. As we've all been saying for a while, we need some fresh blood up front; JJ can't do it on his own, though he did try to today.

I'd agree with most of that Rivelin, but thought Sedge did deliver the odd good ball.
Madine and the Irish trialist offered nothing between them. Madine doesn't half go down easily, he should be sending them flying, but goes down like a sack of spuds with the slightest hint of a challenge. As for any sign of hold up play, there was none.
Without some decent forwards, we'll really struggle next season. And the "no service" debate didn't stand up today, as the midfield looked really sound. They just lacked options infront of them.
New Semi can also pass, which is a bonus as I had read much to suggest otherwise. Him and Jesus look promising together.
JoC came on to play at RB, which underlines how little depth we have. D Jones also came on to play in midfield and did little.
Leeds were poor and didn't play much football.
On a side note, I'm off to town to take in a bit of tramlines in an hour or so, and wouldn't be too surprised to see a bit of trouble around. Feyenoord fans showed up and looked up for a scrap with weeds.

I think the performances of Prutton & Semedo were why Leeds looked poor in the first half.

Sedgwick did hit the bar early on. Don't write Madine off over one poor performance. He has scored two in the last three.

Amand looks out of his depth but could develop into a squad player given time.

I won't write off Madine, but I've never written him in anyway. He's got a lot of convincing to do

we too shouldve had a penalty, the ref looked like he pointed to the spot then gave a free kick, but it was a yard inside the box.
madine was poor and almond wasnt as sprightly as midweek.
JJ gave them real problems and in the main i was quite pleased with the performance.

I think sedg and JJ both played well and looked to benefit from (finally) an excellent center 2

This new central midfield pairing is the biggest positive to me at the moment. It's also great to see Sedgwick has put a few good balls in. I keep checking the sites, hoping to see our new strikers and winger announced but alas!
