I think its imperative that he is a starter in every game for the rest of the season.
Apart from Evra, Evans, Carrick, Rooney and RVP nobody in our squad in all honesty will get a run in the side. Sir Alex has managed to find a working level of rotation in our squad that we can't exactly argue with because at the end of the season we are always there or near abouts.
I've been hoping Anderson to get a run on a consistent basis for at least a year now. He'll put in 3 MOTM performances and then you won't see him for a month.
Hahaa sky
I think he should be played as he is being played. Some good performances, some not so good.
Same with all our kids.
Because he is still a kid.
Beckham Rooney Scholes etc only nailed first team places at 22-23 if I remember correctly

I think he does need a run in the team. He is a decent passer of the ball and sooner rather than later we need to replace paul scholes so i feel its essential he gets a good run in the first team so he can develop into paul scholes role
Yes! He is showing his potential, unlike someone else that gets more praise! Cleverley will make it, in my humble opinion.
The midfield has been very changable so far and I think he is getting his share of games.
Most people on here want Him to play with Anderson as in "Cleverson" but both like to get forward so which one would do Carricks role and sit deeper.

That statement is garbage.
Rooney has been a regular since 18.
Scholes since about 20/21. Beckham since about the same age, and they were definitely regulars.
Cleverly is also 23 which is by no stretch a kid. An age perhaps where there is room for improvement but it isn't like he's just stepped out of the youth team.
But Fergie put faith in them, he doesn't seem to trust youth anymore
Whilst Clevs is 23, we have to remember that his development has been hampered by injury and also the fact he was held back for being a midget.
Apologies I meant Beckham Butt Scholes.
Was playing poker when typing
So I was a year out. They were 21-22
They never spent a year out with injury and to be fair were showing more potential than Clevs I would say.
Garbage is a bit strong I'd say
Majority of that was based on the Rooney part tbh.
The major difference however between the fledgings and cleverly, is that they were given fergies full trust. They broke in about 20 ish and stayed there.
Personally I think clevs is pretty solid player, technically sound. But there is nothing in his game that shouts out special. Not one thing. He is a the more attacking midfield version of butt in the respect hell do a job and probs be around many seasons but never anything overly special or one of the better players in the squad.
Yeah there was lots of hype but I never thought he'd be a world beater.
As you say he'll be squad player, and we do need these.
I think he'd be more than a squad player but just not the highest tier some expect him to be. I do think that some here are slating him too much, while others are overrating him. We'll see ow he develops. Some players are late bloomers.
