seems implausible but could it be a ploy to not bat last???

Serious doubt it but there's a stark difference between the innings

For sure, if it's a good batting pitch you want to bat first, if it's a turner you don't want to bat last.

Davidoff........before you get your knickers in a knott...you obviously were not about when Ricky Ponting grassed a catch a couple of summers ago....(slippery-dips and round-a-bouts buddy)

a wise man once said (something like) :

"always bat first unless the pitch is very green and the ball is going to move around a lot. in those circumstances, think about whether to bat or field, but decide to bat"

Gonna have to be good effort tomorrow to avoid an innings defeat, could well be normal service against spin Neon. I'm just hoping they go down fighting and that next match they pick 2 proper spinners test cricket is not a place for part timers to be front line bowlers.

I take my eye off the game for 5 mins and Trott and Pietersen are gone. So much for the saviour of English cricket. How can he fool most of the people all the time. The bloke is a flat track bully and no use when the chips are down.

And to think the selectors had to grovel to get him back. Pathetic.

On the other hand...congrats to Captain Cook who is looking more like the captain of the Titanic

"If only" we could get some comments from those whom swallowed pride/dignity in order to have Pietersen play for the sake of their cricket team........ya gotta laugh.

Patel! Hit it and sliding down anyway

posted on 18/11/12

Poor Patel will probably get dropped from test cricket after this game and had 2 bad LBW decisions against him.

Love the way the comentators are having periodic digs at India. Whether its DRS or the pictures they are snowing. It's so obvious that the sky commentators are not at the ground.

Gambhir & Sehwag will be shaking in their boots....

Sehwag will probably finish off what we set them in 2 overs.

this pitch hasnt been as turning as much as what india would have probably liked. its more like the spin we see in lords and oval tbh.
if eng play till tea tomorrow they will probably get 150ish, and india hv the potential to chase that in this pitch. just promote yuvraj up and leave pujara down,
