Have you progressed in the last 10 years though? One League cup in that time, is that an improvement on your historical trophy averages?
The standard of football in England has improved overall, are Spurs any better in comparison to the top, top teams, or has their position stayed the same or even got worse?
Genuine questions all, I'm not debating that your finishes have been better than West Hams recently but do you think you are closer to glory than 10 years ago? Or are you just gloating because you go out in later rounds of the cup and mathematically stay in the title race longer than the Hammers?
West Ham are not a winning team at present but neither are Spurs, are you perhaps just celebrating you lose by less than another club, because if so that is more than a little sad.
Dramatic
I would say that the fact we have finished 4th, 5th, 4th, in the last 3 seasons alone, where our previous highest was 5th, kind of answers that for you.
Progression isn't solely based on trophy's in the cabinet.
And with respect, i think West Ham deserve to be mocked by Spurs fans on an article such as this - wouldn't you agree?
We haven't gone up and down like Karen Bradey in her West Ham job interview
Thudd
Brady got promoted in the room with no windows
Chicken
So not even finishing in a "bronze medal" position is a cause for celebration now?
What ever way you cut it Spurs had no more realistic chance of winning the League this season than Wigan, West Brom or West Ham.
Good for you for, Thudd, Raptor etc for being Spurs fans and not switching to Chelsea or one of the Mancs.
Yes you have bragging rights over West Ham at the moment and possibly over Arsenal at the end of the season, but bragging about what exactly? Doing less poorly, that's all, not because you will have won anything.
So mock West Ham, but don't think you have a right as winners to do it. Spurs are not winning things right now and apart from a couple of League cups haven't for 20+ years.
Dramatic
I think you're getting carried away a bit. No-one is claiming we have won anything, although we have won a trophy within the last 5 years (opposed to 33 years) but thats another point.
Football is about progession, its about enjoying what you see, challenging for things - unfortunately for West Ham its more about relegation, survival and wondering what 2nd rate player is going to come through the door next, i. e. Pogatetz.
And let me remind you again, we are posting on an article where a West Ham fan is "bragging" about being above Spurs - its not an article based on Spurs winning trophies or anything like that.
Maybe you should try to get your own club fan's postings in order before digging out Spurs fan's responses to such subjects.
Yes you have won a league cup in the last 5 years Portsmouth have won the FA cup in that time, do they have bragging rights over you?
You do enjoy laughing at Mafia for saying West Ham are a big club, but are Spurs really big themselves? Afterall you are beneath Portsmouth in prizes won over the last 20 years! As you obviously need 2 league cups to beat an FA cup.
Progression and challenging for things? Sorry unless/until Spurs get either a maga rich owner or a 60,000+ stadium (and that would need to be paid off) you can never challenge or progress any further. Fourth is the best you can regularly hope for and then only until Arsenal finish paying off the Emirates.
That's not anti Spurs, it's the same for Everton, Liverpool, all clubs.
So well done if Chelsea and the two Manc teams decide not to try in the cups one year and you win one, because you have no more realistic chance of winning the Prem in the next 5 year's than Stoke.
Basically, a spammer can't have a go at us for lack of success when you lot haven't won anything in over 30 years.
His entire argument is that we haven't had as much success as Arsenal or Chelsea. He relies on other teams to have a go at us.
Whereas we simply point out that he is west ham fan, and has no right in having a go at us, because his own team is absolutely useless.
If Pogatetz is a second rate player then what about Saha and Nelsen that you signed?
Benny
No my argument has nothing to do with Arsenal or Chelsea as such. It's merely pointing out that despite what it's clear you think Spurs have not exactly been successful of late.
Do you as a Spurs fan think two League Cups in a little over 20 years is a good showing? Do you think you have a chance of winning the League in the next five years?
No, unless something unheard of happens Spurs have no more chance than Fulham of winning the Prem in the foreseeable future. So where does this superiority complex come from?
Wow in the last 20 years Spurs have won exactly two League Cups more than West Ham. Now look at this year's finalists, I think any argument that it is in any way a serious competition has now been lost for good.
Other then that then what do you have? Higher finishes it it, wow. Unless you win the league I fail to see who cares.
For example who finished 3rd and 4th a mere ten years ago? Without checking no one knows or cares.
Saha scored goals for us
Nelsen scored a goal for us
Even Piquionne scored goals for West Ham that doesn't consider him as world class, does it?
Spurs fans are deluded and egoists..whoever mention their mediocrity then they go mad at them..
How can a team be mediocre if they've been in the top 5 the last few seasons
Finishes of 5th, 5th, 11th , 8th , 4th 5th and 4th
Currently 4th
I think that's pretty good don't you think Muffy

Wouldn't you say that a team that's finished in the top 5 five times in the last seven season's is doing rather well considering how mediocre they are
Sppurs fans are talking about world class players...
Thuddynuts, why only last 5 years? why not 10 or 20?
