I haven't included Celtic rangers because the football is usually pants and all the sectarian behaviour is appalling.

But the Munich Disaster/Hillsborough chants at United/City……United/Liverpool games, they’re ok are they?

City v United or the reverse fixture every day of the week mate. Score in one of these games and everyone goes ballistic.....it's like scoring in the 94th minute of a 0-0 away against any other team

No they are not an all clubs have worked really hard to stop sick chants.

Sectarianism though is a whole other thing and in my opinion more dangerous.

Ask the family of David Black.

No place for any of it in football.

North London derby is the most consistently exciting due to the lack of even half a defense between us.

...............

No they are not ok, but they are very minor compared to the sectarian crap in Scotland.

Don't care, I'm only interested in three points for Chelsea - so long as we don't lose to Vanilla!

Stoke City v Port Vale used to be a tasty affair, it's not played these days obviously.
A proper nasty rivalry.

Isn't it like the Croatian 'El Classico' that always leads to people getting beaten up, injured and even hospitalised? Pretty much x10 the police force for a derby here, completely dressed up as they have to be dealing with a riot. Football is insane when you put it into context!

Manchester derby. Two best teams in the country, what could be better. It is difficult to enjoy throughout as I am so nervous but it is usually a brilliant game.

Madrid barca would be right up there if they alowed more away fans but its a bit boring atmosphere wise when the away team has no fans in the stadium

Chelsea don't have a proper derby. They are just obsessed with singing about spurs every home game

as things stand the NLD has to be the top derby for entertainment,.

the most overated derby is the north east derby, which is rarely a good game, and the football is terrible. same applies to the birmingham derby

Cityblue, I take it you haven't been to an Old Firm derby anytime recently?

I agree religion and bigitory has no place in football but both clubs have made huge steps in eradicating the nonsense over the last so many years and should be appluaded for their efforts, try singing one of the "songs" at the match and you have every chance of being lifted

I have been to London derbies and Pool, Utd games, loved them, not even close to the excitement of an Old Firm match IMO

Only my opinion of course and I would expect that fans of any club involved in a derby would say that theirs is the best, and so they should
