He must read ja606,everyone has been selecting that lineup for weeks.
I agree with this. You lot would have smashed them had Adebayor not acted like a moron. Of course, expect 'Arry's friends in the media ignore what actually happened, focus purely on the scoreline and rip Villas Boas to pieces, as per.
yes...i'm still not his biggest fan....but....
the line up we wanted.
positive when up against it.
let down by a plyers total lack of mprofessionalism.
so....result...GUTTING.
the gaffer......<appluase>
You lot would have smashed them

Last time we gave them a two goal start, and they still fecked it up,and they had eleven players, its what Spurs do.
Yes, the media will dine on this for weeks, if not months.
Unfortunately some of our fans are having their fill too
just to ,prove the point....

bet they rubbing they hands....can't wait to dig ther guy out...
for once 'arry...show some class and humility tonight.
yep theyll give AVB a kicking for it.
AVB went for it, it wasn't his fault we were down to 10 men. We could have had a couple more goals, but it just wasn't to be. Our injury hit, 10 man team lost by the same score as our full team last season, I'm upset we lost but not down

Ha, maybe so. But that Arsenal defence is always there for the taking. We should have put about 6 past them the other week. Your manager is fine, in my opinion. There's only so much you can do and that doesn't entail stopping a pumped up Adebayor jumping in like a madman. The fact some of your fans look as if they want him to fail is ridiculous.
Anyone who blames AVB for this result needs their head looking at!
Good policy change at half time & in all honesty I thought Arsenal were rocked at times. Hopefully we will keep this formation for next Sunday!!
"Anyone who blames AVB for this result needs their head looking at!"
Not sure how we can play 4-4-2 with one striker though
Agree AVB got it spot on, even after the sending off
Typical Spurs - just when things seem to be gelling, we fack ourselves over!
We can bring in Falque for the next game in place of Ade. I'd drop Hudd as I think Carroll will do a better job!
It will be Dempsey & Defoe I think Bales!
No complaints about AVB at all for me today, after a couple of games where he's had me really scratching my head.
I think siggy offers a lot more than Dempsey personally (and that's saying something becuse Siggy offers precious little right now!) but it's AVB's call and if on the basis of training etc he goes for experience over potential I can't really fault that, especially with (on paper) Dempsey's greater goal threat.
The only thing that really pished me off was Bale all smiles, laughs and jokes with an Arsenal player just after the final whistle
I feel for AVB. The Chelsea players completely let him down and never gave an effort for him.
Hes obviously a very talented manager. But the media always seem to be on his tail looking for him to mess up. Why is that?
And again, hes been unlucky regarding results i think. But hopefully Spurs keep him on board. Im sure he will come good.

I truly think the press consider him as being some sort of foreign posh boy, whos 'too clever by half', and as the class war still being alive and kicking in this country, that counts against him.
Whereas managers like Rodgers, Harry and even Mark Hughes are considered the salt of the earth, despite similar f.ups!
I'm not his biggest fan...I'll openly admit...
But I do feel for the guy...if it can go wrong...it will....
And the media are hunting him down like a pack of wolves.....
He actually agreed on the BBC that the was correct, and has nothing but praise for the way the team played. Its good to hear our manager doing a Fergie. No criticism in public regardless of the result.
