But he never creates anything so his potential will never be fulfilled unless he does.

Agree honest. He was head and shoulders above Allen and Gerrard in midfield. His confidence started to grow during the game, and he started to pin balls across the pitch, and was unlucky not to score.

This game should help with his confidence. I do think Jordan has it in him to succeed at our club.

Henderson is a tidy player, he will do a job and sure up the midfield when needed.
He can be as good as Lucas and it could be interesting to see the battle between them for that DM role in the upcoming seasons.

he might not be the most creative player in the world but he showed great energy and pressed high up the pitch leading us to win the ball back on a number of occasions. if your going to keep the ball, you have to win it back and he played a major part in our domination of possession today.

Fully agreed PPF, apart from his glaring miss, he ran his legs off. I dont know the stats, dont care either, but I thought he passed the ball better than the skipper. I thought Suso was playing well, but against some of the Wigan heavy lumps he was going to come off second best. Good move by the manager. JimmyTheRed

One bright performance amongst 20 shiite ones doesnt make him good overnight.
He still has a lot to do to prove himself - frankly I think he should be moved on

I didn't watch the game but reading some of the comments it looks like he played very well.

I don't know if it's true but BBC said that the fans where groaning and some where booing when he came on.

Watched it live, there was no booing or any other discernable reaction, I suspect many fans at Anfield were confused as to why Suso was taken off. He's just cracked one and their goalie made a magnificant save. Once Hendo came on, he started running, and never stopped. The fans showed their appreciation of him for never giving up, chasing the ball, and passing. He certainly didnt do himself any harm by his performance. Just one game, but his performance eclipsed that of our skipper. JimmyTheRed

it was a good performance from him but to be fair it was only against wigan and these guys usually fight against relegation every year
