Helps when you have a player who always scores a hat trick when he goes there too

i've been saying it for a while now. two more quality additions and we have a real side on our hands.

plus with all this talented youth around we don't have to spend massive amounts on rebuilding the team for the future. we can spend £25million on two players and seriously improve our side. for example if we bought huntelaar for £11m and someone like isco or belhanda for £14m we would have a terrific team:

Why would you move premier league top scorer behind an unproven player

Agree Philo, when you actually take off the tinted red glasses from whatever team you support and actually go through the LFC team,you can get some of the leagues "arguabally" best players in their position; for example:

Reina
Johnson
Agger
Lucas
Suarez

If we can add real quality, and i mean every transfer window a £25M player or 2....and we should be able to, the sponsorship we have is mad and the players moved on has been quite big.

Just add 2 in....say Huntelaar and Walcott. Now our attack would be from:

Huntelaar
Walcott
Sterling
Suarez
Sahin
Gerrard
Allen

Not too shabby by far and for me the equal of the other top four challengers.

DIsagree mate. FSG have said repeatedly that they will compete if they think the player is worth it....just read that again...

Now, go back and look at what they have done with their other teams; they add quality players when needed....£10M..£20M..or £30M if necessary. FSG have brought youth in, they have trimmed the squad and in Jan i believe alot of reds will be eating their words with the players LFC want to bring in.

Who? Well we need quality, Huntelaar and Walcott are precisely that and as an added bonus both are out of contract and both relatively cheap. I wouldnt rule out a Cavani type either......other people can and thats fine, but the whole of europe can see what LFC are doing and players like Lucas, Coates and Suarez WILL help get the S Americans at Anfield.

My views, knock all you want but we wont know until Jan.

problem is, that sides will demand 20+ mil for the second and third choice players we need because they know the better targets will only want CL football

And we'll probably have to pay it and get LAL'ed because the other option is 4th and 5th choice players that won't improve us.

Kaiser....LFC will be fine with the players coming in we need; i trust BR with his signings. TBH, didnt take him long to suss out Downing, Adam, Cole, Carroll were not worth keeping did it?

But I think if we want someone selling sides will demand big money. We've got a lot of it.

I do wonder if last summer was making some sort of statement regarding an unwillingness to pay Downing money again.

They cant ask too much, lets say Walcott says i want to go to Anfield...Wenger says £12M mate, LFC say fine...we will wait and sign him for nothing in the summer.

Same with Huntelaar..IF he said Anfield is for me,lets be honest he knows Suarez well.....then his club demand £15M, same again LFC can say we will pay £8M now OR wait until his contract ends and get him for nothing.

I mean,thats what i keep reading from rival fans....LFC is an average squad; well,its not too shabby when you can bring in Johnson, Reina,Enrique, Henderson and still have Lucas, Kelly and Borini to come back.

i'm not convinced huntelaar will come but i have no doubt whatsoever that we will sign a decent striker in january. greateams we have £16-18m coming in for carroll lets not forget. why wouldn't FSG let us spend that!?
