Chalobah and DeBruyne give me hope for the future.

Who knows they may even be our first choice central midfield partnership in years to come.

Nice to know at a time when one or two key players are letting us down so badly in the first team.

Chalobah goal, ran from half way to support attack and finish off attack, fired straight into keeper first time around but managed to bundle home rebound.

If you go on iPlayer you'll eventually find the Watford match somewhere, for the Football Peague Show. Apparently it wasn't really that good, some sort of lucky deflection, but he's still been a big attacking threat in his games for Watford as well as doing well in defence when he sometimes slots in at CB, I'm hearing

I'm a big fan of his, reckon we have a future star, and would be perfect as a 'midfield general' in the side. I'm glad he seems to have settled in a midfield role rather then a CB role as well, reckon he's more suited there from watching the reserves. It is a mind blowing when you consider he is just 17, but then he has always been punching above his weight throughout the youth levels. Hopefully, assuming he keeps this form up, a PL loan next season and into the squad after that

Also liking KDB, who I reckon could slot into the side and be the midfielder we sometimes lack in the middle. Regularly creates chances each game - read thr he out Elia and Arnautovic through on goal 5 times today, they hit fluffed up their chances each time. Probably an exaggeration, but every time I watch Bremen highlights there'll be at least one good chance he'll create.

While we're on loans I'm also glad to see Josh doing well after a bit of a disastrous 11/12 season from his point of view. Think people forgot how good he was when he was playing some games under Carlo, but impressing again now, would suit this new team very well. Manager and himself has been saying how he looks stronger, and seem encouraging reports on his defensive ability. Personally I'd put KDB and Josh into the squad next season, KDB as the 'new' midfielder, Josh the replacement for Frank.

It was a genuinely good week for loanees, Kakuta has 6 assists in 5 games with another two today, Davila scored two as well.

I've not seen De Bryune play in Germany, but everyone i ask almost to a man tell me he's been one of the Bundesliga's best players this year. The kind of player Bayern would be tapping up if he wasn't ours.

From what i'm being described to me, his game mirrors that of Paul Scholes in his hey days with the pin-point passing and lively threat along the edge of the penalty area. Sounds extremely promising, as do our other two Belgian delights would i have watched and have been impressed by first hand. Just goes to show how little trouble we're actually in when people take a step back, we had none of this promise 12 months ago

I really hope you are right. I also have a lot of faith in Chalobah and if he doesn´t become a Chelsea player I will genuinely lose interest in the youth academy and the entire point of having youth players.

I could see Chalobah coming into the squad as an extra man as his loan expires in January

I would love to see that

If Sterling can become a regular at Liverpool at the age of 17 then Chalobah can at least make a few appearances at Chelsea this season.
