Grayson a great manager?

OK, who's the comedian?

Grayson inherited most of the players from Macca, he also inherited a Hudders team from the last manager, so his achievements are zero, including our promotion from Div 1.

During that season we had an 11 point lead halfway through season, only to end up fighting for our lives, and second spot during the last game of season.

Did s-od all next season either.

Grayson a great manager

Guardiola inherited a team from Frank Riikard that had already won La Liga titles and the Champions League. His achievements are zero.

15 points who gives a fook, we're super Leeds and we're going up. No i'm not talking about the deduction, that is how many points we were behind Leicester on boxing day for Grayson's first match. So with that "great" team we weren't exactly making League one easy.

What an idiot you are Clive. Somebody tries to put some decent opinions across and you just put your fingers in your ears "la-la-la I'm not listening".....very mature.

Alarm bells should have been ringing when Warnock let Clayton come to us, for a price as cheap as he did. This lad can play, really play. For a 'manager' to dismiss him and replace him with aging journeymen like Norris & Green is ridiculous. I expect Clayts to get his revenge on Warnock in 2 weeks time, then you can all fully understand what a player you've lost

Only idiots back Warnock now. The ones with brains want a change. Look at wat Warnock has done to us. Hoofball with a team full of pompey players.

How on earth can U defend that s4ite

Grayson played hoofball with a team full of internationals and players who are now in the Premier League.

Ken, you say some ridiculous things.

Guardiola developed one of the greatest teams ever, continued to win things and left a great team behind.

All Grayson did was finish 2nd by a point, way behind the leaders, and left a mess behind!

We were 15 points behind Leicester when Grayson took over, but we finished the season 12 points behind them!

We were 5 points behind Peterborough and finished 5 points behind Peterborough as they took 2nd place.

That's no improvement from a position deemed bad enough for a manager to lose his job!

It's not where you are in December it's where you are in May. McAllister may or may not have delivered promotion in May but we know for a fact that Grayson didn't!

And I've just done what I said I wasn't going to do anymore but I can't let you talk such ****.

--------------------------------------------------------------

52 points collected in the remaining 25 matches, playing top side Leicester twice. Average of 2.08 points a game, would have given us 95/96pts over a full 46 game season, title winning form

Especially when you consider the team he took over from had just lost 4 league games in a row (Tranmere, Colchester, Northampton and MK Dons). Between that period was the embarrassing defeat to non-league Histon.

At the end of the day, he stepped down from Championship club Blackpool to manage Leeds Utd, struggling in League One. He got us promoted in his first full season setting new club records, beat the skum at Old Trafford and produced a good draw at Spurs. We also outplayed Liverpool at Elland Road, only bad decisions by the ref cost us.
Finished 7th in first season back in the Championship after losing Beckford and achieved a draw at the Emirates.
He was then sacked after Bates started to dismantle the squad, but nothing's ever Ken's fault
This was acknowledged by the fans who started chanting Bates out at Southampton (very first league game) and then the first home league game v Boro:

After his dismissal he went to League One Huddersfield. Achieves promotion, and is now once again above Leeds United in the football pyramid. Leeds are continuing to deteriorate as a club, crowds down, quality of player down, number of players down and most worryingly league position down.

Conclusion:

"One" Simon Grayson - the guys fooking class

Bates out!

Forgot to add, Bates said Grayson had the opportunity to go to Premier League Burnley for more money, but turned it down. Fantastic loyalty!
