Was the big grin because of the 3-0 or because WE'RE TOP OF THE LEAGUE!

If you're coming back again (next home game might be worth a go?) it's better to buy a ticket in advance because you will get a better seat.

Derby tried to mark Zaha out of the game so he was a bit quiet but it also showed we're not a 1 man team. I was really impressed by Jedinak and thought he was MOTM.

This team really is a "see it to believe it" side. I was trying to convince a friend to come to some games because being Palace we don't know how long it will last! The simple solution is just keep winning games from now until....the end of time! I will be happy with that

You should post this on the BBS as Steve Browett be pleased to hear this, although well first of all, Welcome Back to Selhurst Park!
Be heading to be11end rd this Saturday so, hope to see you up there, but what was your last Home game in 1972? :/ And did this keep you away? With Miles Jedinak’s Movember, you didn’t get him confused with Jim Cannon?

Holloway & local lad Keith Millen both are approachable, but I guess at this stage Ollie can’t believe his luck, and maybe in the Jan-Window wants to get in a few familiar faces. Spoke to his misses in the carpark before K.O. down to earth & was happy about the warmer climate compared to the north.

There’s a real buzz in SE25 & hope it continues throughout the season, yes - the streak will probably end at some point, but it’s how we overcome it. Onwards & Upwards- Up The Palace! Cya in 2052

Hey there TeesEagle, welcome home! Great match to return for too- according to Palace Radio at least, Murray and Jedinak had a fantastic game.

Last match I got to was Bristol City v Palace on 28/12/10. It was freezing cold, and a pretty dire match. We put one past David James with a free kick early on, then the game stagnated until the home side grabbed a late equaliser from the penalty spot.

My girlfriend left at half time, declaring that she would rather take her chances with murderer of poor Jo Yeates (who was still on the loose) than freeze to death at Ashton Gate. I suppose I ought to have gone with her...

Unfortunately I won't be at Elland Road PH84. As I get home Friday night from Southampton and set off again Sunday morning, Mrs Tees wouldn't take kindly to me spending Saturday going to Leeds!
I hope to see a few more home games while working in S'ton between now and the end of the season, so may even be at SP on the day we get promoted!
Not sure of exactly when my last SP game was but it was a Zenith Data Systems Cup game (remember that?) against Norwich, when John Salako lobbed Peter (?) Gunn from the half-way line for the winner.

TeesEagle, Semifinal second leg Tuesday 19th March 1991 2-0, won the tie 3-1 on aggregate, went on to win the Zenith Data Systems cup final 4-1 against Everton.

I'm impressed sgbilko! In which case I stand corrected. It's only 21 years since I was at SP!

Clearly being away from Selhurst Park feels twice as long! So the last time you were there the new Holmesdale stand hadn't been built? Where did you sit on Saturday?

Caymans when was the last time you were at Selhurst Park? Can anyone beat Tees 1991?

The final at Wembley stadium was a 4-1 win agaist Everton with Geoff Thomas, John Salako, and Ian Wright 2, getting our goals.

You're right MTP. The Holmesdale end was still open and standing but on that occasion I sat in the Arthur. Last week I was in the main stand, half way between the Holmesdale and the half way line and 5 rows back - a bit too low down for me. I will take your advice next time (which I hope will be soon) and book a ticket on-line.

"Can anyone beat Tees 1991?"
aka Last time at Selhurst Park!!
Oh dear, oh dear I am afraid I can beat it.
My last time inside the hallowed walls of Selhurst Park was the 3rd June 1989 when we beat Blackburn 3-0 to be promoted to newly formed Premier League. 2 goals from Wright plus a penalty from Madden saw us promoted after extra time. None of us knew at the time that away goals only counted after extra time (we had lost 3-1 in the away leg) but thanks to Wrighty scoring with 3 minutes left we didn't need it. Ahhhhhh heady days.
I might not have been back to Selhurst Park since but can own up to having been to watch them play at the Roselada Stadium in Malaga (1-1) & also watching them trounce Torremolinos 5-0, can anyone match those exotic locations?
I can also remember watching them play in Germany back in 1976 but cannot remember at what ground it was at.
