Ok Guys only a couple of mins left to get selections in. So far we have:

Forecast favourite was Benny the Swinger...I repeat Roc De Guye remains my selection there !

We can iron out the issues over the next few attempts. As opposed to making it a league straight away it might be worth having it as a daily comp, until you have stronger numbers.

Sorry DDB I'm out, fair play and all that, but Arkle is not abiding by the rules set out.

He has been shown he is wrong but he still persists to have it his own way, which is quite typical of the man.

Just introduce a rule that you only get a set number of points for a fav winner, regardless of how many fav winners you get.

That way you would try to ensure you only had one horse that won as favourite.

Just trying to get some visibility for the competion to get it off the ground.

Keep it the same, 10 points for a fav winner....So 2 fav winners and you still only get 10 points.

Dr Capello/Chronic, if you bothered to read the thread instead of jumping in with snide remarks you would see it was on the Horse Racong board only to start with, Admin1 kindly asked if he could distribute it elsewhere to see if there was any interest. if your not interested then just dont post on the article, simple.

If we just have 3 selections we can pick one favourite..if we have 5 selections we can pick 2 favourites...that should solve all complainers personal problems !!

Though as I already stated...favourites can fluctuate day to day and hour to hour !!

Fav at time of the result. That would force people to go for more measured selections.

DDB..you are really making this far too complicated...I have organised contests before and they have been far more straightforward....we should just all be allowed to pick 3 or 5 (if that is the concensus preference) horses per day irrespective of price as not all favourites are placed let alone win..the stats endorse that !

Arkle, you would just get people picking 5 1/10 favourites. Half the people would have the same selections.

maybe you are right AS, ill thorow up a post tomorrow and see what the thoughts are. Too late to change it for today.

Admin 1...I don't think so somehow..that certainly didn't happen when I organised it...as I have already stressed far more of them lose than win !
