He's still a great player in his head but on the pitch he just cant execute things again. Happens to everybody that's why there 's a procedure called retirement

Yeah, he's had his moment in recent years too, even this season, ill always remember that oak vs West Ham, sheer brilliance, ad the goal at OT vs Juve, saved us big time, and, of course, THAT goal vs Arsenal.

It doesn't compare to his form in the 90s though, when his pace went, he had to convert to a mor technical player and wasn't quite as exciting for me.

I would have appreciated it, if Gigggs could have scored a late couple of goals against Wigan.

There Rob, you can go and do the four finger shuffle now. I have posted a comment with the words Giggs and appreciate in the same sentence.

one of my favourite giggsy moments was the goal against juve in 97 i think, watching it on telly you clearly hear a guy in the crowd say 'c'mon ryan' and then he hammers it in the top corner and brian moore comes out with 'ooooh i dont believe that'

Another massive struggle.

Scholes, Carrick and Giggs all started.

I suppose we could say SAF learnt his lesson, he dropped Scholes to the bench this time round.

The 1-1 at home where they'd battered us but he saved us? Thought that was the '99 semi first leg? Was it Conte who scored for them?

Ill also always remember Nev's face in a post match interview when he found out Juve had qualified haha
