At the end of the day, Chelsea need a new manager. If it's Rafa so be it, we don't know how it'll turn out. Who in their wildest dreams ever imagined that RDM would win the champions league? Maybe Rafa will be good for us.......

I actually like Benitez tbh, good manager and wouldn't even mind him, don't understand the hate he gets, never have. Even last season said i wouldn't mind him

tbh everything aside apart from Pep their is no one better than Rafa on the market.

Not keen on the Torres stuff though, he still needs to go in January and hope Benitez doesn't put sentiment over our fortunes

I think Chelsea fans dislike him due to the bickering between him and Mourinho, also the fact that he called Drogba a diver, oh, and he knocked us out of the champions league a few times.

Yes this means 6 more months (at least) of Torres.

Roman is obsessed with Torres being a success and it seems that he won´t stop until he does.

Expect Torres to see off a few more managers before we eventually get rid of the donkey.

Although we keep hearing Falcao and Atletico saying he'll be there untill at least the end of the season, i'd rather we have him in January just so we can get it done and dusted but a summer move would probably be better but i'd want us to have a pre contract agreement signed !

And we'd still need to buy another striker in January

To be fair though sw6, i like the bickering in football, good entertainment and mourinho use to mug off most people when with us including liverpool fans in the league cup final in 05.

Mourinho, great manager though he is, bickers with everyone; Drogba did chuck himself about; and the Champions League...

Seriously, most Liverpool fans rate Rafa and many would have gladly had him back in the summer. The was pretty successful for us and had he been given the financial backing to go through with a couple of his more expensive gamble signings (e.g. Ronaldo & Alves pre Utd & Barca) then who knows. I think with RA's backing he could do annoyingly well for you guys.

p.s. Credit where due - Agent Cole is also doing a great job for you....

As for Rafa? I'm using all of my mental strength to not slice off my face, fry it and eat it in a sandwich.
