I don't have a problem with the bears celebrating a victory which means that a non-existent entity now owes less than originally thought, (and wasn't getting paid anyway). Does this mean that the side letters were not actually needed, and if side letters were used in the admitted 'wee tax case' then they can expect some kind of punishment?

why?

if HMRC hadnt hounded the club for 5 years other backers would have come in, other finance would have been available, whyte drove rangers at the rocks as he saw it as the only way out of a false tax assessment and years of malicious harassment by a function of central government, as well as the conduct of lloyds tsb also at the time at the control of central government, who broke all FSA regs and sold their client down the river by forcing the sale of rangers to whyte, despite their full knowledge about him.

never mind whyte he's just the scapegoat, a full public enquiry is whats needed to find the real guilty.

'a false tax assessment '

I would hold that thought for a little while

If HMRC appeal, and the dissenting 1 of the 3 gives erudite grounds for doing so, then this will go on and on and on.

The last thing our game needs.

Why don't you ask yourself why Murray sold the club for a quid?

That's what the smart people are doing.

the smart people allready knew that lloyds tsb had murrey by the short and curlies over his disaster at MIH.

lloyds and murray had the background checks done by private detectives hired by AJ and the rangers board, they knew he was a shyster, they knew his background, they knew he was someone HMRC would never do a deal with.

yet they threatened to withdraw rangers line of credit unless the deal went through.

lets see the same investigative zeal shown by rangers haters in the last 5 years put to work exposing the real story here

smart people dont look at the convenient scapegoats they look at what events set him in place and who has benefitted most from this fit up, the mechanics of how the fit up was portrayed by a complient media and who set it in motion.

rangers fans want answers and aren't gonna be fobbed off by "aye bit it wis aw whytes faut"

Where have you been?

Before Whyte took over, CELTIC FANS told you what Whyte was.

You lot wouldn't listen ffs.

Seriously, where have you been?

Do you have memory issues?

We told you about Whyte, just like we've been telling you about Green.

Bottom line, Murray expected to lose. He sold it to Whyte with both knowing they would lose. Have you read the document yet? Have you looked at the payment operation? Shady as fk.

And they never lost

They'll both be raging

But as I said, I wouldn't be surprised if it went to appeal.

Laugh it up Ishmael. I remember you laughing when we told you he was an asset stripper.

What a riddy

posted on 21/11/12

murray sold rangers to whyte because lloyds tsb forced him to.

why on earth would HMRC appeal? they've wasted millions of public money pursuing a case they lost.

why would they appeal and waste millions more when there is no chance of the crown recieving a penny more in any outcome?

the only justification for appealling would be to win this as a test case something they had strenuously denied doing as they almost killed a football club for nothing or mibbess they'l do it just to make rangers haters happy eh?

no one said a word about whyte until that down market bbc documentary, then you all jumped on the bandwagon

you are all trying to discredit green because you want him to be like whyte, tims are always wrong

Lloyds forced the sale.
-------------
why?

thats one of many things needing to be investigated.

I can see at least 2 conflicts of interest, the first being MIH's debt to lbsb, the second being lbsb being 60% controlled by the same central government in persuit of rangers in a false tax assessment.

by forcing rangers sale they also broke FSA guidelines. .

only a full public enquiry will do and rangers fans should be screaming from the rooftops for it.

Sorry Tim O, missed the best part. The smart people already know they forced the sale because somebody came up with the readies and gave them an exit having been repaid. They didn't care who Whyte was as long as they got their Moolah.

It's so easy to understand that the smart people already knew that. Unfortunately the type of smart people you know are the type predicting we would lose the tax case.

I'm sure I remember you saying Phil was right every step of the way . I'm sure you also praised the RTC blog

Scream all you want.

In fact, do it as loud as you can.

Then more people will be able to look at your (dead) club's method of paying millionaire footballers.

I imagine it must hurt that your club didn't have to be liquidated, and you did nothing about it.

Still, you've got your lists to write up

Rangers were never around for the second tax case, they were found guilty of the first one.
