i actually hate glenn loovens. he is a clown and a moron of a man.
Is madge suspended? Glenda rightly gets criticised but he's as much a player as Madge is IMO , if Rogne could get his act together we wouldn't need either o them
Loovens is a dud, total bombscare...just like maj too
Ki & Kayal will need to work twice as hard today to make sure a ball doesn't reach our 18 yard line.
Never have I seen a CB make such consistent mistakes since Gary Caldwell vs Benfica
Loovens keeps getting chances then makes a huge errors or gives away a pen, I would rather have Maloney play in that position !
He might look good in training, but training isn't played at match pace, and in matches he keeps getting found out, we will just need to score loads to cancel out the goal or two he will give away.
We couldn't play Wilson and Big Maj as they're too similar. Let's see how Loovens and Wilson do before laying into the Dutchman.
You never know, the partnership might just work.
Loovens could have the best game of his life today, doesn't change the fact that he is not a good central defender.
How are Wilson and Maj too similar??
At the risk of repeating myself, the fact we dont have a settled GK does nt help as i ve said, the GK and the 2 CB's form a 3 that dictates the whole defence. A commanding goalie (Father Borat ideal example) will help 2 CB bond (Mick and Heed pretty average CB's but a good pair IMO)
Is that not a worse line up than last year? Wilson is maybe an improvement on last season, but Loovens and Zaluska are a step backwards.
I'm more than happy to trust any combination of Maj, Rogne, Wilson, Mulgrew at CB. That with - hopefully - an able Pletikosa in goal would be fine for the season in my opinion.
