"This is Rafa we are talking about, you know, the man that spends more reciting his CV to anyone who will listen"
What has that got to do with Fergie implying he's some sort of bastion of morality?

If United had reprimanded Phelan and the GK coach don't you think there would've been some mention of it? The exact details wouldn't have been made public, and a statement would've been made about 'dealing with it internally'. After all United, and Fergie would've wanted to make it clear, from a PR perspective, that they don't condone the actions of Phelan and the GK coach.
Why do you have "Duncan Edwards" as a username? In memory of the man?

The only one mentioning Rafas cv today was Fergie!
Probably irked about Rafa saying 5 trophies... Who knows if Rafa was on about "5 times" or referring to Fergie failing to win any of the 5 he was up for last season.

It's not about United reprimanding them, it's about what Ferguson thinks - and you have no idea what he thinks.

He wasn't bothered about the trophies that Rafa might win despite having a point. I mean, it doesn't matter if he wins the World Club trophy or not. It was his last point about having some luck to beat Manchester City and how new Managers have this phenomenon of winning their first 2-3 games.
All he was doing was getting Rafa geared up to show he's not lucky and get City thinking that he's new Chelsea will try harder. It's not a world-class mind-game, but he's done the best he can do, to see if he can get the result between them at least a draw.
I don't understand why Liverpool fans are so upset by it. He's Chelsea's Manager now. Even they aren't that bothered!
stop worrying about Chelsea and their manager and worry about yourself.
Chelsea and liverpool have something in common here, they both have managers the fans don't want.
Liverpool fans want fatty back and chelsea fans want rid of him.

When the manager was chosen though, pretty much all my mates wanted Rafa back.
I desperately wanted him back. Still a massive fan of the man
