I doubt it's that cynical, but I'd much rather have Distin playing than heitinga.
i dont think moyes would stand for the board selecting the team
Distin has been injured and faces a fitness test this morning. How cynical is that?
I hope it's just injury but noticed he's been on the bench the last 3 games, Reading, Sunderland and Fulham.
Agree with you Alasmithandjones, we seem a better team with Distin alongside Jags instead of Heitinga.
Its all down to the accounts being released.
Much like Rodwell being left out of a game against United because he had been transferred to OT.
I think Distin is a good player but with Jakielka and Heitinga much younger than him with the potential to get better.
I'd be more worried about your form, a great start but like many predicted, you'd start to drop off. One win in seven isn't great and looks to be the sign of things to come.
A sign of things to come....we have been terrible in killing off teams....but here we still sit up at the top.
A poor excuse to come and try to WUM
Wasn't very impressed with Liverpool today Toor, you had the chance to close the gap,and you failed. Should of waited till after the Swansea game to come and WUM. Have to agree with numb nuts here though, our form is kak, lets hope we have Gibson back soon, as we look a better team with him playing.
I was quite impressed. We were throwing these games away and conceding silly goals at the start of the season, now the balance is there, we just need a striker in January. A good result at a difficult place to go to. I'm happy with the performance and content with the result.
Gibson?

Lucas?
Lucas has done nowt to impress me,but I don't see him play week in week out,so I don't normally pass comment. Gibson doesn't set the world alight, but without him we're a weaker team. Just like Liverpool when Lucas is missing. We do well against Swansea don't you know?
Gibson......anyone would think Liverpool fans are hoping Lucas returns soon
Well he's impressed some of the best managers around, getting in the Brazil team, when fit also. That's enough for me, especially since the person who thinks differently rates the woeful Gibson.
Woeful Gibson?
Really you are being silly now...
When you are one of a few defensive midfield players.....your chances improve for Brazil.

So does Santos, I'll say no more. Fook off Toor your an idiot, even some of your fellow RS fans think so.
Santos .....you are making a comparison between Lucas and santos......
Well thought out response that Toor, I bow down to your superior intellect (fooking dunce).
About time too. I could have sworn you were trying to imply Gibson coming back was like Lucas coming back. I'm glad that has been cleared up.

Lucas wouldn't make our bench, and our bench is as weak as Sterling (pi-ss).
We should do a career goals scored and assists...
That should clear utility all up
Lucas that single handedly dominated the best midfield in England before he got injured?
Gibson is a United reject FFS sake

Yeah let's do a Heskey career goals versus Fellaini while we're at it.
You can't compare someone at two different stages in their careers....
Lucas and Gibson are separated by a year.....
Plus with all the extra games he has played (being so much better) he must have a good return.
Dominated the best midfield ?
In his one good season.....take a bow
You can compare, it's just you don't want to.
Gibson dominated City's midfield at Goodison Park last season. Premier League winner and Champions League finalist. Top player.
