Excuse me... why isnt this on the huddersfield board.
Happy bday frank. And yeah ive met him and his family.
A legend footballer
Tez - I've asked admins to correct my oversight
Good old Frank. Would go on a 24 hour bender, get in at 3am Saturday morning and still peace all over the centre halves in the afternoon.
Saw him recently in Elland. By God he looks rough!
let me guess you're a Bolton fan
Love how the ref was applauding the goal as well! If he done that now Chelsea would accuse him of being happy!! Great goal
Best goal ever - sod Ibra.
Frank is a one off - I remember once on match of the day they said talk us through your goal Frank. He said "Willie (Morgan) went to the byline, crossed, I leapt like a young Salmon and bang it was in the net. "
Bit different from teh ehhh ermm ehh well ... you get these days.
Love the ball boy's celebration
Was lucky enough to be in The Burnden paddock that day Frank was a true showman loved him !
Ive never seen that goal before just watched that 4 times , amazing.
A couple of years ago I was in the corporate at Elland Rd (V Leicester, I'm not a total tool) Frank was there just attending the match and was happy to talk for ages and pose for photos which I have saved and keep on my phone - The blokes a legend in Leicester, where he did of course play his best football
Class goal! Never seen it before. Like the top comment says, 'so good even the ref claps'
Very good but blown out if all proportion
Great goal by Frankie
The ball boy is actually Julian Darby by the way.
Brilliant goal, Bergkampesque.
Not the best ever though.
I scored a goal similar to this one once. The guy I mugged off with the initial chip wasn't happy and every player on the pitch couldn't believe what I'd just done.
If I can do it then it isn't the best ever. For instance, THAT Ibra goal is way out of my capabilities. However, the best goal ever doesn't exist.
"Very good but blown out if all proportion"
Are you serious? The only guy who knew what was going to happen there was Frank. Watch again as all four defenders start to push out thinking he's going nowhere, then flip......bang! Amazing goal.
The best I ever saw though is still Trevor Sinclair against Barnsley.
What were the defenders thinking!
Only jesting, Happy Birthday Frank, true Bolton legend
Big Frank scored 24 goals in the league that season to finish top goal scorer of the season on our return to Division 1,how we could do with a 20 goal striker now !
A goal I can watch over and over and over again is Lionel Messi vs Madrid for 2-0 at the Bernabeu I'm the CL a few years ago.
Just runs through the entire defence. Absolute magic. Best player ever.
I don't think its possible to have a best goal ever really.
What I do think is that Frank's and Ibra's goals are both sublime. However it would be unfair to compare the two as they both take a very different sort of technique to pull off.

"Why you forget about me?! I AM GIROUD. LOOK AT ME. I ALREADY 'AVE LIKE 7 GOALS!!! wow!"
We also have little Theo who is a 20 goal a season player. Shame we are going to sell him for peanuts.
saw Frank doing an after dinner speech. he came over to our table and bought us all drink because he thought we 'laughed the most at his jokes'! Top man.
"When i took over the job at Tranmere we were near the top of the league. By the time they had sacked me at Christmas we were all but relegated... however, every single player could balance the ball on the top of their head by then"
They made such a hype about the Ibra goal. Mexes goal was more important and it wasnt less amazing.
The Mexes goal is better than Ibrahimovic's for me, as he actually had a keeper to beat. It was audacious to even try.
Ibra's, whilst also excellent, was brought in fairness about by Hart charging out, which made his decision a lot easier.

Happy Birthday - is this the best ever??
