If doesn't inspire confidence, does it?

A lot of ifs there. We have two very tough games, if we can get 4 points I'll be thrilled.

I only counted one IF
celebrating top 8 are ya?
Ahhh yes ... feels good to be top of the league ... no place like home indeed
if you were to show this post to Liverpool fans just five years ago they would be shocked at how quickly things have gone wrong, with getting into the top 8 being seen as some sort of success.
West ham have beeen good this season and Spurs not so much.
Who knows!
I'll leave the optimism to GB next time

Ffs. Are you that desperate to have a dig? We're not taking the article as seriously as yourself. Get a life.

Not being seeen as success, seen as improvement on a poor start to the season.
Five years ago nobody would of guessed Man City would be Champions, Rafa managing Chelsea and WestBrom in the top 4.
true Lucas, I wonder what things will be like 5 years from now ? Wigan owned by billionaires and Champions of Europe ??
Cmon.....3 points is all we need;keep racking em up and you will finnd the blue noses keep remarkably quiet and the gooners and sp.uds quietly disappear!!
Siempre, mate, don't you think you should be out enjoying your victory instead of camping out on the Liverpool board having these digs?
i think only Man City fans go out and celebrate home wins against QPR.
I am at home with a bottle of Morgan's Spiced and some local sweet moscatel
Morgan's Spiced rum FTW!
Try it with equal parts apple schnapps and coconut rum.

Saturday nights at Siempre's bed-sit sound thrilling .
it's 3 points
if that makes us 7th or 10th isn't really relevant 1/3rd the way through the season.
with the way the table at the moment looks people can practically jump multiple places if they draw
Red Man, I live in a Villa in Spain and our nights are good thanks
Siempre, I see you are back on our site again you naughty Manc you. Hope all is well in Sunny Spain. LFC is progressing, not spectacularly so I accept, but we are progressing. I take each game as it comes, our owners will be put to the test in the new year, your owners continue to bleed your club of cash, our youth squad is blossoming, so, on reflection, I'm glad I'm a Red and not a Manc. jimmyTheRed
That's 1-0 to Siempre I think
Siempre
I was only joking . If I play nicely from now on can I have a rum?
Big game for us tomorrow, no doubt.
We are in a place at the moment where winning some games could really get us right in the mix.
Likewise losing some will put us well out of contention for a decent position.
We need our A game to beat Swansea and go to Spurs with confidence.
Captain Morgan's on me !!
