Summed up perfectly Wow.

Three or four more of these performances and automatic promotion will slip away.

A performance to learn from and consign to the recycle bin. Hopefully against Bolton on Wednesday night will be much better.

I still cant believe this talk of OUR fantastic squad,,honestly our squad leaves lots of questions,i.e,were are our box to box central midfield plavers ?,this team (Millwall) that stupidly you expect to finish in the bottom half had two such players,,Millwall worked harder played harder and wanted to win a damn sight more than our players did,and for me got there just rewards for there endeavers,ok we put pressure on them for a time but only on maybe two occasions in my oppinion did we have a clear chance of scoring a goal,,one from Olson and one from King once again Rhodes was snuffed out and his total lack of pace was shown in this game,i predicted mid to bottom half finish this season and i have no reason to change my mind as yet,we have Keans and who ever else's squad ,and for me the squad is wanting in very inportant positions on the field, until we replace Murphy and to some extent Etuho we will not win the important games and believe me when i say against a team who will be there or there abouts at the death, yesterday was a very important game not to lose.
Against Bolton we need to drop Murphy and bring Peds back in,worth a try for me but we cammot continue with Murphy, the man is miles to slow in every way for this division.at least with Peds you do get a workman like player.

Play at home with one up front and this is what we'll get.

Whats the point in having Rhodes up front with a set up like that.
We have a natural scorer given chances, but play a system were at home were whenever he received the ball he was so isolated it was untrue.
2 on 1 all afternoon yet they played 2 up front away from home.
On the plus side King looked good when he came on and I would play Vukevic before Murphy everyday of the week, we don't need another defensive midfielder like Etuhu and at least he puts in a tackle now and again.

We need to be more attacking especially at home.

Berg's appointment was stupid. Since Venkys took over they'd worked with 2 managers previously. One had huge amounts of experience and success, one had no experience and mediocre success in lesser jobs. So which of these 2 types do Venkys pick as our next manager? Berg was a top player and is a rovers legend, but he should never have got this job.

You have a good point Damian, not very adventerous really, and when the away team comes and plays 442,it does seem strange that we play one up front, however i still say and this is to BaWHs has well ,i will give Berg time to assess his squad of players ,i can see that we do need a FIT attacking midfielder, and maybe that is another issue,,i have always felt, even from the first game i watched in the championship at Ipswich the opposing player have always appeared to have had more energy and been much fitter than ourselves, this was again glaringly evident on Saturday,,lets give Berg a chance of say a month to 6 weeks ,for me has a mamoth task on his hands now,by the way i go to Ewood with 7 other fans and we all predict the score before the game, most were 3-1 and 2-1 to Rovers i said it would be 2-1 to Millwall,,you see even there i was being optomistic, this group of Rovers players are not that good in truth and are certainly not as fit as the rest of the prem were it matters,,MIDFIELD.

Poor indeed. Berg is helped and hindered by following coco - squad down on nous or ability but fans who don't want to criticise after our suffering...

However, it was a poor appointment!

Well Pie yes that is another point,we really have to like this or lump it,as i say i will give him a chance,it is still much better than seeing Kean stood there, look how the Chelsea fans have greeted rafa, wow not a word said against them,,morning Pie.

I dont think you should have corrected yourself Roverblue. We should still compare ourselves to premiership teams as that is where we want to be. We dont want to turn into a team like Blackpool who look really good at this level but struggle at the next, we need to know we are ready so we dont come straight back down and at the moment we aren't. If that takes Berg this season AND next, I'm happy to wait.

Indeed, needs a couple of transfer windows but then we'll be 3 years down the line in our push for Champions league...

Ha, Ha,yes Pie so correct there but again i do have a problem here mate,,it is difficult for me to see which will come first ,the Champions league,or liquadation..

Liquidation is more likely.

Emancipation is most likely! I agree, worryingly without spark against Milwall, especially 2nd half. Not sure about next week needs to be much better.
