I've not been so ill bow down to your comments on the performance..

But I don't think we are in a relegation fight...

1 win and 4 draws including Cardiff and Leicester at home, and Blackburn and Brighton away..one disappointment was Barnsley...

We appear to be having some luck... I've no doubt in my mind we would have rolled today with Coyle in charge...

I'm taking the positives and believe that Freedman is assessing and picking up points before January...

Burden - just got back in and your accessment is spot on. The last time I saw such a clueless performance was at Derby under the short reign of Sam Lee.
Mallorca is right in terms of DF been given time to evaluate his squad, but how on earth anyone can put a team out without agreeing their roles is very very concerning.

All I can say is give him time.

Teams in relegation battles don't go 5 games without a defeat. Get a grip.

Says here we are 18th ???? seems near the relegation zone to me.
Teams in promotion battles don't draw at home against Barnsley and get battered at Brighton.....
I know nowt though.....but admit to it.

Thank you.

Corporal - read what I said " On that sort of show" ie if we continue to play like that we will be in a relegation battle. For those of you who do not think there is a problem need to wake up and smell the coffee.
All the early signs were there against Burnley and Crawley and no one seems to have taken any notice.

Very disturbing.

I don't know who we will sign in January or how we will cope for the rest of the season, but if Dougie is still assessing the squad, he is either genuinely not sure of his players or he knows they aren't good enough.

If the latter is true, we can expect a few comings and goings come January. One thing is for sure, something is not gelling at the moment, despite an unbeaten run.

They have taken notice. Coyle has gone. DF needs time to get his own lads in and shift out some of the garbage that coyle signed. That may take longer than the January window. Hopefully with a handful out and a handful in we may see a difference. Question is who do you want shut of?

For me:
Pratley
Ream
Mears
Sordell
Afobe
Andrews
Petrov

Makes some money on some of these and then bring in fresh faces.

Oh and Alonso.

i agree with your list with the exception of Sordell who i think will benefit from the work D.F, is putting in place ,i also think petrov is a player we need if we are going to climb the table on saying that because he does'nt track back maybe your right ,he just may have to go,

I think there would be a large queue of teams in the championship trying to pick up Sordell on the cheap.

Don't think DF will sell though, think he is protecting him. Problem with likes of Petrov/Andrews, you won't get a few for them..or a fee, will there be interest?

I pondered Sordell but I am losing patience with him. We are coming up to a year since we signed him and get weak excuses like homesick. Get a grip. If we did go up we may well find ourselves in a relegation scrap. I want players prepared to fight not opt out for a year when the going gets tough. If he does not play between now and jan the 15th then sell him. If other clubs want to give us around £3m for him good. He may have ability but has a poor attitude.

i agree with some of the ops points but we are not going to be relegated but are not going to be promoted unless sooner rather than later we put together a 5 or 6 match winning run to get into the promotion mix.yesterday was very worrying for me from the 70 mins or so i saw.you could not believe how bad we were outplayed all over the pitch, battered in the 1st half when we could have been 5-0 down.the only positive i could come up with is we stuck at it and more by luck kept in the game.missed ngogs goal as was at the train station by then.the team selection was very strange.cannot understand why ream and pratley played as holding midfielders both were awful made no sense why they played ahead of spearing and andrews.afobe was equally a baffling selection ahead of lee or petrov. i thought the team we had out at blackpool was more or less our best and most balanced team but since then freedman has chopped and changed for no good reason i can see.i hope he has a plan but i cant see it.

Not sure if it was the players or Freedman who were the problem today but we allowed them to play through us from the back on the ground, we made a team of "unknowns" look like Barcelona.

Can't blame the back four today it was the non existant midfield, we didn't start to show any aptitude until SKD and Spearing came on. If Afobe has pretensions to be a premieship player he needs to think again.

Pratley works hard but he is out of his depth.

Sounds all so familiar
