will people just get off his fooking back, he's doing alright its alright everyone having a go at becchio but the service he gets from the team as a whole is awful, most of those players that we have playing in the first team are, imo, nothing more than squad players....so if you wanna have a go you'd better include most of the team because i for one haven't seen one stand out player this season yet....

It's not a coincidence that he's got progressively worse as the team has got progressively worse.

Becchio like most old style centre forwards, thrives on quality crosses into the box, something we haven't consistently produced for a goodly while.

Somma guess it says more about our top ten goal scorers then don't you think.....you sound like the kind of guy would rather score one overhead kick in your career than consistently score because 'it looked cool'

Hope there isn't one of Lee Chapman, I'd think that'd be a bit boring as well!..

Who gives a toss at how boring goals are, once they cross over that line there a goal!.

He had the service yesterday.

Think it was Byram whipped a peach of a ball in, Becchio turned his back on it jumping. Didnt win a header in the box yesterday.

Tell me, is he the only player on the pitch or are there others?..

It wasn't to long ago the same people on these boards were saying "FFS why cant we score penaltys", Alan Shearer, one of the best that ever was, scored lots from the spot, and I mean lots, that hasn't done him any harm has it?..

Oh, and one of his favourit teams was your one and only, he scored loads against Leeds!..

Great to see players doing what their meant to do, funny to see them getting hung for it, especially when their support isn't doing what its meant to do!..

I asked if there are other players on the pitch, if so should they not do that bit to help him help others?..

That lot had one thing Leeds haven't had for a while, service to the front line, he's there and when the service is he'll get more!..

I'd like to know the way our team have been playing this year, how many of the leagues top scoreres if playing for us would be where they are?..

Our creative wide players most of the season have been Varney, Tonge, White and Byram.

All our football this season has been long, hopeless punts up field.

No surprise he went a while without a goal from open play.

Not saying he's great technically, but he gets so much criticism on here when we've been terrible throughout the team. How's he supposed to control a hopeless pass from 60 yards or win a header from a ball nowhere near him being challenged by two CBs.

Lets see how he does now with Thomas providing some service to him, McCormack back in the side and Tate playing it out from the back instead of Pearce thumping it out.
