Kayal

Naka had too much ability and not enough two footed lunges to ever be rated in this country

Nakamura was criminally under rated. Dragged Strachan's team to the last 16 and 3 title

As long as the game is a Celtic Park,KD smashing player tho!

Hemdani was a better player than Wanyama

2 World Cup QF's and a major tournament win. That is pretty good by international football standards. Hardly "honkin." Albertz was at his peak in mid to late 90's.

Nail on the head His vision and passing were out of this world at times, just a shame he was playing with a bunch of diddies that couldn't do anything with it

You seen the video of Naka hitting the ball in to the moving bus window

Albertz would have smashed the window

In fact imagine being hit on the inside of the thigh on a cold morning with a mould master from an Albertz free kick?

The amount of holes Naka pulled us out of aswell was incredible, always popped up with a bit of magic, a defence splitter or a beast of a free kick. No surprise we've struggled to break teams down since he left. He was worth at least 25 points a season.

I think that's now twice the transfer fee that Wanyama will attract has been used a reason for rating him as the best.

Alan Hutton commanded an amazing transfer fee but he's not been the best right back in the last 20 years.

Stupid argument to be honest.

Germany were on the down turn after their Euro 96 win. It was an old team on the way out. All Albertz could get in that period was 3 measly caps. He only ever won anything in Scotland as a player. The Scots game suited his style of play everywhere else he was out his depth. Hence the limited success as a player.

I think players that dive should be removed from best ever teams........they're bad examples to the kids

It doesn't seem right not to have any Rangers players in it though I do get what you mean.

Depends which colour of shades you wear.
Diving is not acceptable at any club. We all have them.

careful bhoys you rated kayal at £8m last season now he cant even get a game and remember izzy was he not about £12m (timmy values), is he even in scotland anymore

I'm more focussing on the fact that you state Germany were "honkin" as opposed to how good Albertz was. They were clearly amazing in 96 and then had a a manager (Vogts) who was intent on sticking with his old guard for one last time in 98. They were full of quality players.

kayalateral are you trying to seriously suggest rangers players dive and celtic players dont?

Whit aboot that `Serbian Zindane' bloke?

they preformed poorly at the next two major champs after euro 96. I think we even beat them during that period.
