Only British manager I wouldn't be annoyed with would be moyes, he's the only one near the level we're after.

It doesn't matter. This is not international football where a disproportionate amount of favour and fervour is bestowed on patriotism.

Besides, looking at the current class of 'British' managers, does any of them really fill you with confidence? Do any of them have the fortitude and know-how to manage a behemoth like Manchester United?

Whoever wanders into the job afer Fergie calls it a day will be under more pressure than probably and manager in the last 20 odd years!

Due to his tenure and the amount of success anyone who goes into that job will need to be ready for a hell of a challenge.

In a strange way, the pressure may not be as great as people think because there will be an air of resignation that they won't better Sir Alex.

perhaps this is the real reason why we bought Bebe - to groom him as SAF's replacement?

The problem is when we lose people on here go mad criticizing Fergusons tactics or team sheet or substitutions.. If a manager comes in and loses a few games the fans would jump on his back straight away.

ole gunnar solskjaer or pep guardiola for me, preferably OGS

I wouldn't mind if it was David Moyes, but if Pep was available i would take him in a heart beat, like everyone else. I also think that if United, City and Chelsea were all mangerless at the same time and Pep had to pick which club he would join, he would choose United every time, it depends how long he's willing to wait for SAF to retire though, he could leave in a year or it could be five.
