I was talking to some Portuguese guys when I was over for the Celtic - Benfica game and they said Rodriguez is the best player to play in that league since Ronaldo
If only we had some left-sided attacker who was creative and could score goals.
If he sold shirts in Asia it would be an added bonus!

think most would want a Midfielder more at the moment
Besides, we have a homeless Portuguese guy, why do we want a Chinese shirts salesman?

But most of those games of the left were when Rooney came back and then Kagawa got injured.
I reckon when he's back the vast majority of his games will be on the left.
Rooney is moving for no man!

Haha, not again
Fair point Rob, I hope that be the case.
Simply we should keep Nani on the left, Valencia on the right. Evra at left back with Buttner and Fabio fighting for that spot.
That £40 odd million we would spend on Bale or Rodriguez, save it and sign a couple of decent CM's.
Theres a few out there we can get, then go and sign a decent left footed midfielder.
If the majority of people think Bale is overrated, doesn't that mean he is?
Bale is definently over rated. He is good but nowhere near what people make him out to be.
I know he is quick and he is only 23 but you would have thought he is world class the way people go on about him.
I would rather we invest the money elsewhere. On a couple of good CM's.
He is over rated in terms of people saying he has the plane potential as Ronaldo and Messi, but he has great potential and is simply unstoppable on his day.
People call him a one trick pony because they've seen him run down the wing and smash it on the bottom corner a few times. imo, at old Trafford he'd be given a platform the flourish, because he has attributes we need, he has the ego to play for such a club and is the perfect age for him to make the step to a top club.

He chose Spurs over us. I say let him rot there.
We should look at the next up and coming players to develop, theres a few young ones out there.
I still dont rate Bale, when I watch him play he lacks a very small football brain.
Not my cup of tea, I would rather have a fit and on form Nani than Bale.
Anybody want to buy an iPhone 5?
for our style of play, an on form Bale is much more effective than an on form Nani, both lack consultancy anyway.
Nani gives us something different I would hate Valencia and Bale on either end using one brain between them!
Bale is a lot more flexible than Valencia, have you actually seen him play 90 minutes? They are both quick, powerful and one footed, that's where the co parison ends!! I hate that comparison.
Bale is absolutely brilliant. I wouldnt say he's overrated at all. You cant compare him to Valencia - Bale just has so much more to his game.
Hmm... Bale is a better crosser. Thats about it.
Where were you guys earlier?
Bale is very very good and it's silly to see him get slated with lazy cliches.
