And we all know what happens to turkeys at Christmas, don't we Chronic? Thats right, they get Stuffed!
The point of a clubs emblem is to inspire, to draw on history and stand for what a club has achieved.
On that basis I'd say the Cockeral is pretty funking useless, wouldn't you?
Liverbird wins rather easily....
People all over the world know and love the Liverbird, it even had a tv show named after it. I mean, come on, which is best? A majestic mythical beast that stands guard over what once was the largest, most important port in the world, or a pigeon strutting a casey?
Liverbird wins rather easily....

no it doesnt.
the cockerel would shred it with its sharp spurs

The Liverbirds can rise from the flames. A Cockerel would merely appear on a supermarket shelf...

Chalk up another one for the Liverbird!
what flames?
there are no flames. the cockerel wouldnt be caught by any flames as it is too streetwise, and also would fight the flames with its sharp spurs

its nt a pigeon. its a cockerel
Looks like a pigeon, strutting a casey!
There has to be a fire. It's synonymous with the Liverbird mythology. To omit this part would render any counter argument invalid.
So the Liverbird wins.

Also, I've highlighted what the Liverbird is known for. What's a Cockeral known for? Sh@gg!ng chickens.
Another one to the Liverbird.

its my experiment and there was no fire. if there was a fire though the result wouldnt change.
the cockerel would hold the liverbird hostage with its sharp spears, and use it as a shield against the flames.
the cockerel is also scientifically proven to have a larger brain than the liverbird.

So it's the run up to the 1901 FA cup final and the spurs chairman is desperately looking for inspiration for the new crest. He decides to use whatever he can find about his person. Unfortunately for the fans he had been on a stag do the night before with Arthur Gore the men's singles champion...

Can we have a beachball tonight? I seem to recall a beachball influencing a Liverpool game in the not too distant past
