He's just telling the truth IMO.
Howson has also criticised the entire set up at Leeds, saying it was much more professional at Norwich.

Interesting... but as you say, what's the point!

Ryan-MOT....... was there any need for some of our so called supports to have a pop (at one of our best players in 8 years) at him saying stuff like he would never make it in the prem and nowich will be going down when he left?

We even had one go on the radio and say it.

Don't they look silly now? Maybe he is getting his own back on them?

Meme

Completely agree.

It was only the bitter and jealous ones.

Don't care what he says unless it's "I'm really pleased to rejoin Leeds"

I doubt that's going to happen.

Thanks for your time here but those we have now and those who will arrive in future count more.

Howson was one of our best players, I never thought he wouldn't make the Premiership. But I still dislike him for various reasons. I dislike Snoddy even more for one sole reason. Why accept, in fact why ask for the captaincy when you plan on getting a move away in a matter of months? I know he said, "Oh I want to sign I want to sign." But it was crystal clear once he'd gone that he had no intention of staying, he all but said that when he went.

Glad that these snippets come out confirming what some of us had been saying.

Did snoddy ask for it.

Snoddy I think was in the end sick of broken promises

Yeah LIW

It was said at the time that Snoddy originally asked Grayson for it but I think it was that Grayson didn't believe in having a winger as a captain. Then when Warnock came in he didn't believe in having a keeper as a captain so he put it up for grabs and Snoddy asked for it.

I think Snoddy was sick of them yes, but to lie and say he wants to stay and to request the captaincy and then leave months later.

Belief in the team,
From his team mates,
The manger,
The chairman,
Or the fans?
Take the phrase as you to.

It's no more an attack on the club than all the fans that have a pop at various players.

It sounds like an attack on Grayson to me and proves all those who were strongly against him right.

You have a player now playing in the Premier League questioning the professionalism under Grayson, after Andy O'Brien, a player who'd played most of his career at that level, called him the worst manager he'd ever played for.

LUFC made him the player he is, he was hardly on many top teams radar when he was in Livingston's division one side, he even failed to impress at a trial for Barnsley

So Snoddy be thankful we bought you and improved you as a player.

I don't think Snodders was attacking the club, more like letting the truth slip about the low confidence and the little belief the players had not long before he left.

He also sounds like he's giving a round about reason why he left without attacking any certain person personally.

Water under the bridge...players come and go, have an impact or don't.....doesn't really matter what ex players say....who cares? I'm just interested in us winning the next game. And the one after that, etc....
One simple fact these days, loyalty does not exist when so much money is involved. End of.

Someone needs to tell him that without leeds united He would not be were he is today and that we have new owners now, I still think norwich will come down.

A lot of hypersensitives on here

Snoddy stuck it a long time

The team will have felt any lack of commitment from the top. A lot more keenly than the fans so not surprised by this mild comment

He tells it as it is. Confidence has been low both on and off the field at ER for far too long. Snodgrass was the barometer as to whether there was any substance in Warnock's pre-season protestations.

Sadly he didn't believe (once bitten twice shy...) and he was proved right.

There's no loyalty in football on the pitch, players come and go. I suspect that if this current situation at ER proves not to be a false dawn, Snoddy will become a distant memory.

No need at all, silly comment.

Snodgrass / Howson / Johnson / Gradel / Beckford and the like would never have got in the Revie or Wilkinson squads.

And taking on something StevieDee says, to me he's a distant memory. Why we have to keep carping on about players we've not got anymore is beyond me.

Dont care what he has said, lost his chance to be regard as abit of a hero when he left, will be remembered as one of our better players from league 1 and maybe champ.

Dont dislike him mind, but would love norwich to struggle and us overtake them, so he can see what he could have been apart of and what he missed out on.

What a stupid comment.

The lad was just speaking the truth, i wouldn't class it as a dig at the club, a dig at management and the hierarchy yes, but not the Club.

Though i think it was unnecessary
