fuc i can see it been given to rafa or rooney to be honest
yes i doubted him, after losing 4-0 to west ham and see how poor he was that day. also when he got sent off against city in the 6-1.... i thought that was the end for him.
now he is one of the best defenders in the premier league and i honestly think he can be one of the best in the world. he has strength now, he isn't afraid of a tackle, his positional play has improved and he can actually play the ball forward like ferdinand.
and he is starting to chip in with goals. well done Evans for proving us doubters wrong
I expect Rooney will get it if SAF is around. He likes the seniority thing. But it may be up for grabs if Rio, Evra do leave. Vidic should get it back for a while anyhow.
It's a possibility. Depends how long SAF stays around for and who the next manager is.
He's been brilliant this season.
I hope so even though some think it will be jones
Evans all the way
Also SAF proved right in letting Shawcross go....
Not really, he wants him back.
Just paper talk I reckon. Smalling,Evans,Jones and he will at some point buy a foreign centre half methinks. Timing of that depends on Vidic recovering and being the same player.
I would rather see Rooney given the captaincy, but wouldn't begrudge Evans, Fletcher, Rafael or RVP the armband.
As I saw him giving Evra a shouting at during the final minutes vs West ham I thought the same thing.
He is a model pro, honest and is always available. Don't see why not.
Definite captain material IMO.
A quality player emerging as a leader (his senoirity at International level doesn't do him any harm).
man city only had 1 shot on target till johnny evans got sent off.
