you have a good view from there not the best atmosphere though but ull enjoy it! You should be fine wearing your shirt on the main roads. As for pubs theres literally soo many around. I only go a few times a year (all i can afford really after train, 2 tickets etc) so often end up in a different one so unable to advise the best place to go beforehand.
East Stand Upper has a great view but virtually no atmosphere. Go on to any pub near the ground, there are dozens of Chelsea pubs.
Wear your jersey?no probs, take the tube to highbury, change for seven sisters and over ground to mile end,SORTED.

"I got a seat on EAST STAND UPPER/its any good?"
It's terrible. All the seats face towards the pitch. BOOM BOOM!
"..advise for some good pub near by stadium to see fans..."

are you sure its not full with arsenal or millwall fans?haha
Don't mind me best1. Just in scampish mood.
Judging from what the Chelsea fans have said here, I'm sure you'll have a cracking time.
Can't tell you where best to drink near the Bridge, but wear your shirt with pride fella and enjoy your first visit.
Me too,my apologies,im scamp, good luck for the new season you blues, and enjoy losing your match viginity chelseathebest1.
Remember my first time at SB as if yesterday.
Mid-80s, pouring rain, standing on the uncovered away terrace, drenched through, no idea of result but awful match (maybe Chelsea won 1-0), kept in by the old bill for 30 minutes at the end then walk to tube station and full-on scrap with a mob of Chavs waiting for us.
Happy days.
well that was long time ago. I was very small then.didnt even knew whats football hahaha.i heared it was very bad in mid 80 due to holigans. its true?how arsenal fans getting on with chelsea fans nowdays in london?
Rival supporters are probably never going to be a match made in heaven, but hopefully we'll never see a return to how things were in the late 70's and 80's.
Horrible time to be a football fan.
it was so bad?which fans were worst bak then and why?
I remember my first time
That's a different thing though
Have fun I'm sure you'll enjoy it
Which game is it norwhich?
WEST BROMWICH ALBION is the game i will visit.i am trying to book stadium tour also day after the game. this is my best present ever.
It's against the baggies right? That's good, hopefully an easy game to make your first experience memorable
well you never know.never under estimate your oponent.on the paper chelsea should win however players may think otherwise. sorry lads.any sugestions which airport is closer to city.i am abouit to book fly ticket and i can fly to LHA, LSTAND, LGAT. whats best option?
Chelsea the best which is your favourite team in Slovakia?
I'd say they are all relatively easy to get into central London and then to Fulham from tbh. I tend to use heathrow or gatwick
I would say you are better off going Heathrow, all you'd have to do is get a train, or even walk to Earls Court then get a train to Heathrow then you are sorted. 30-45 minute journey max.
I've never used to Stanstead, it's a bit far away.

Football was well rough in the 70s and 80s. I followed Arsenal home and away. Gotta say that the worst fans were Chelsea, Leeds and Man Utd - bear in mind these clubs were all relegated during this period and the violence they dished out has been put down to their fall from grace.
