I hope the fans do. Absolute no brainer; the guy is a total mor0n of the highest order, as was shown by his public dressing down last week.

You all know that if you draw Celtic away then you will sell out your allocation completely and in honesty you probably dislike Lawwell more than any chief executive.

So basically, you are willing to give Celtic money but not Dundee United?

I don't see the logic in that.

Celtic and Rangers fans have always mooted this idea of boycotting away games, when in truth the next fixture at Celtic Park or Ibrox they will charge you a ridiculous £42 and it will sell out everyday of the week.

Would we still get half the gate if we sold zero tickets? I'd assume so but wasn't certain. Suppose the club refusing the tickets in the 1st place might be a different scenario.

Don't agree with boycotting your own team under any circumstances but I can totally see where people are coming from here and I'm sure everyone will do what suits themselves

Leave the boycotting when it wont hurt us in the pocket
on our return to the spl

We get half the gate , so sell out our allocation as usual and back the team

The Newco Berzz will turnup in their numbers no doubt.

It's the only chance of the season they can visit a decent stadium so you have to grab it.

I've said all along, 'Feckem!" I won't go to another away game against an SPL side. I wish them nothing but grief and misery for the next three years. And when we get to the SPL, in whatever form it takes, I won't go to any away games then either.

We'll be visiting Hampden on the 29th of December.

No, that would be Barcelona and Spartak on Wednesday

that will only be 55000 would it not?

An old firm game would be more than that

posted on 3/12/12

The Celtic-Barca game had 58,841‎ (every ticket sold-out but the 1st 3 rows have to empty due to a ridiculous UEFA guideline), and the last ever Old Firm game had 58,546.

Can you pick out 5,000 empty seats? And that's including the empty seats in the Barca end (which is the only ones I can see).

There wasn't a seat to be had.

I would have no issues with a boycott, though would it not be better to go (split the gate money) but buy nothing in the ground?

No programmes, no pies and no drinks.

Give them nothing but make them pay for the extra policing because for once their ground will be full?

That way they end up making a loss. We should certainly do this to every top flight club when back there, barring Killie who abstained from the vote and have good pies (no need to cut of our noses....)
