Don't expect Liverpool to spend half of what you have listed.
The rumours of low spending are to prevent other clubs from asking for bigger transfer fees. Clubs do it all the time.
from an outsider looking in - i cant see any of those signings to be honest. Too much money and i doubt any of those player will go to a team who wont qualify for CL.
You are best going for Darren Bent, Demba Ba or Sturidge

If we spend half that I'd be delighted.
The likes of Strurridge, Bent and Walcott are just over rated over priced mediocre English players.

Im sorry, but that is what Liverpool have become.

Yes but that doesnt mean we are going to fork out 35M for Cavani. Lets keep it realistic.
People say its unrealistic but Sturridge and Walcott would cost more in transfer fees and wages than Cavani.
That's got a created team on FIFA written all over it

Silly article really.
Ramirez and Pereira are impossible, due to the 3 club 12 month rule.
And Cavani? Your in cloud cuckoo land now.No chance.

I don't think people would disagree that these investments would allow us to challenge top 4, FSG know we need to be successful to make money.

Yes but we get two decent players for that, when we are back in the top four we can look realistically at players of Cavani's ilk.
Think about it, your suggesting that we spend 65M on three players, there is no way the owners will do that again unless we are in the champions league.
Suarez drops so deep nowadays he may as well play AM.

We won't get back in the champions league without big investment.
An you have dropped on of your better players this year in your team.

Is this not were Lucas comes in? he can realise the AM forwrad therefore Suarez can move higher up.
remember he is the false 9 thats why he drops so deep.
Hopefully now Lucas is in, Gerrard and Allen will push a lot higher up the pitch, we saw this on Saturday. Suarez has definitely been dropping too deep I agree.
