Indeed the club remained Curly. However, for this to happen a newco had to be created and accordingly they had to apply for membership to the leagues. This is standard, but neither Dundee or Motherwell had to do this. Rangers were never "booted out the SPL", their application was refused and then subsequently accepted by the SFL.

Refused on the basis there would be boycotts, on the grounds we had cheated the tax man for fk knows how much......
What was the fttt result

Or, was it refused because it seems unfair that a club making an application should walk directly into the top division??
In fact, the farther away from odious hate filled clubs like Celtic and Dundee United the better

Then surely you would be in agreement that you want the club to apply a consistent decision over the boycott and extend it to ALL SPL clubs that took part in the decision?

Curly, no other club has ever created a newco and then applied to come straight into the SPL. What happened in the summer has NEVER happened before.
Seemed more about the "cheating" tbh
It wasn't for me. I just didn't see why a team should apply and get directly into the top division. That is all.
Why chuman?
We have said its a one off, united have been our first oppurtunity and im personally glad its them. If the club was going to take this action this club represents the worst of what went on in the summer.
"this action this club represents the worst of what went on in the summer."
Provide evidence of this. Seriously, show me where it is clear that United pushed this.

Because it was a decision taken by the majority of SPL clubs.
What did DU do that warrants singling them out?

Here is what Rod Petrie said. I will show you what Aberdeen, St Johnstone and all SPL clubs had to say. It was the same. But, it's all Thompson and United
Cant live if living is without you...
AK I honestly think the normal rangers punter that wants to watch his team every week will be left a bit bemused as to why this boycott is only being applied to one club.

Hahaha, are we all accepting that the tax case decision means Rangers didn't cheat???
Not for me, none of the loans have or will ever be repaid, therefore you cheated the tax man and you also had 2nd contracts where payments were hidden from the spl, I don't need someone to find you guilty, I have formed my own opinion.

What about Hibs though Curly? Petrie said the actions of Rangers are damaging to Scottish football amongst many other things. Is that OK because he isn't Stephen Thompson??
No, just Utd and Celtic - we have to move on after that
