Europa Cup knockout stages
Improved away form
Spurs Xmas parties
BaLennon, great that our away form has improved but our home form taken a hit
True Shmexy, but it is improving. Bear in mind we have had a slight team reshuffle after selling VDV and Modric, and top players injured, considering all this AVB still has us in the top 4
He is better looking
He doesn't reveal other clubs players clauses
He wears better suits
He has a lower bmi

If we had vdv and modric still... Do u honestly reckon we would be playing as immense Footy as we did last year?
----
Yes, aside from anything players take a little while to get used to each other. Ledley played loads at the start of last season too..
Mate I think most people still underestimate how good modric was for us I really rated that little priick
I definitely underestimated how good he was for us, watching the game last night made me realise the amount of failed through balls we made that Modric would of nailed
We cant compare, and any comparison would be purely hypothetical - but would any squad be worse off with VDV, Modric and Ledley?
Its still too early to judge imo - was Harry that much better than BMJ, who got us a dodgy lasange or two from the CL?
Messiah
His performance against Spain in the Euros was magical
modric could play a through ball but he by no means did that on a regular basis.
You're right there chronic but he had so much more to his game, he calmed everything down we look a lot more frantic these days

We have Dembele for that now. He calms us down.
I like what AVB is doing for the team right now. I honestly think that Harry would have been doing better right now but I feel that in the long term AVB will build something really strong. He seems to use his squad more and has a vision of what the squad should be.

What do you mean? Depends what your definition of "regularly" is i suppose ,but considering he was the first name on the team sheet for 4 years, I'd say he was pretty consistent in churning out high class performances.
Which ultimately resulted in Madrid buying him

Mate. Calm down. I simply said that modric by no means played through balls on a regular basis. That is truth. I watched him live every other game from the moment he came to the club to the moment he left.
I am not saying he wasn't class because he was. He is a superb player. But if you think he constantly played defence splitting passes then you are wrong. 99% of his game was simply getting on the ball and making us tick, with the occasional slalom through opposition players with his skills
Your blind defence of anything to do with modric has overtaken you actually reading what I said, which is undeniable truth.
Still too early to say. Yes we've qualified out of the group in Europa under AVB where we didn't last season under Arry, but AVB has played full strength teams and Harry didn't. We're yet to find out if this will take it's toll on the players at the detriment of either or both campaigns.
We probably should be a little better in the league than where we are but if AVB gets top 4 at the end of the season then he's done his job for his first season and can look to the season after to push further.
