RVP - as a Utd fan myself, I don't think that QPR did give up, but even if they did, I wouldn't blame them at all for us not winning the league. When West Ham beat us at OT to stay in the league a few years ago, was it because we gave up??!! The league is won over 38 games, just as relegation is decided over 38 games, and the reason we lost the league last season is because we threw it away, simple as that. The defeats to City didn't cost us either, as City did their best to hand us the league, and with a few games to go and a 5 point lead we should have closed it out but we didn't.

I hate it when teams blame other teams' performances for costing them, and I make no exception for us. You've also got to accept that as the most successful team in the country, other fans will rarely come out for us, that is just part and parcel of being successful.

Kinsang I mentioned in my earlier posts we fecked up in the Everton and Wigan games where vital points had dropped.

"your fans and players celebrating peed me off."

I revel in the fact that you, and so many like you are obviously still suffering from some deep seated psychological problems after the events that unfolded final minutes of season 11/12. It's comforting.

Sunderland poznan - pure class

City and QPR fans going from hurling abuse at each other, to cheering for each other - pure class

RVP - the truth is that we actually bottled it big time over those last few games (if any other team had lost the title the way we did, the same would be said). It is just more surprising given our experience from previous years.

Complacency had crept in during the final end of the season, especially at the Wigan game. The players thought they just had to turn up.

i bet you loved it when he "won" you that penalty and got our man sent off though didnt ya?

his diving wasnt a problem then was it?

look,i wasnt happy about what happened at city for many reasons. Barton shamed my club that day,we are not like that. i was gutted that we didnt get at least a draw,we deserved that and thats got nothing to do with the Man U situation.

I don't condone any diving at all, in fact when I saw it I just shook my head. It's just expected of him when he's in the box

I think this was a tongue in cheek article, ad hoops you need to calm down son!

As much as I feel QPR "gave up" a little towards the end of the game, I was stunned that you were even 2-1 up at any point, once you went one nil down I thought that was it, so fair play to your lads for putting in a cracking effort, knowing relegation was a possibility with the only way out being to pick up points at a ground where hardly any points were given! I don't blame QPR at all for the defeat, I see the turning point as Evra hitting the post when United were 4-2 up against Everton, that goes in, title over.

As for Sunderland it is a great bit of banter, sucks for United fans but it must be funny to see a side think they have won the league on your home turf only to be outdone in unbelievable circumstances, and they don't have much to cheer about bless them so let them have their moment.
